On the lower fan settings, it isn't too loud. I use it in my bedroom to help filter the dog hair and dust in the air and it works well. The filter replacements are a bit expensive but other than that it's great.

I live in a condo and it takes care of the entire main level. I keep it on Auto and it kicks in when it needs to, otherwise, you wouldn't even know it's on other than for the lights (it's so quiet).

Any odor from cooking gets cleared out by this being in the living room which is by the kitchen

I like that the light can be controlled. It is very quiet. I do recommend.
