Bought two of these things based on the positive reviews. They should clean more than the total amount of home I have based on their ratings, but I’m not convinced they even work at all. They are basically visual smoke detectors. They don’t purify the air so much as they push it around. They slowly eliminate minor odors (cooking), but you could wait without them for a similar effect. Thought they might have any inpact at all with litter boxes — absolutely not. For how expensive these were, what a waste.

Worked well for about 3 months. It started giving red rings of bad quality even without a change in any room I’d put it in. Bought a new filter for 75 dollars and it still didn’t work. Had to contact shark for a replacement and had to pay shipping. Go with a different brand. It’s just not worth the aggravation.

It was okay, I thought it was a little overpriced for the job it did.

Works very well! Only thing I have to say is I wish the odor reducer scent insert lasted longer!

When I read the description of this product prior to purchasing the product, it stated that the filter average life is 6 months. It wasn't even close to six months. The filter didn't even last 1 month, meaning that I will need to replace the filter monthly at approximately $100 (including taxes). That's a cost of approximately $1200 per year, not to mention the added cost of the electricity on my utility bill, and the cost of the product itself. Very expensive for the average home.

Great for small room and kitchen cooking orders. Not great for big rooms.

The Shark Clean Sense Air Purifier Max is a great air purifier that would satisfy just about anyone. It hits a Goldilocks position among air purifiers I've used: it's neither super basic and lacking in features, nor is it overstuffed with dubious features that complicate operation. It's the second Shark air purifier I've used along with a few others, and this helps solidify their position as my favorite overall. Setup is very easy and consists of basically unboxing the unit, unscrewing the bottom lid to remove packaging from the air filter before replacing it, and then starting it up. There's a small deodorizing unit to install in the top that takes just seconds. After that, operation is simple. In general, automatic mode is where I've left this. In this mode, you rarely even notice it coming on. However, as it monitors air quality, it will ramp up its fan speed to quickly restore air quality. After cooking and slightly burning some food, it detected the particulate increase and adjusted accordingly. At top speed, the fans are noticeable but not distractingly loud. And of course you can manually adjust the speeds as you wish as well. The deodorizing feature on the top is adjustable as well. Overall, this is a great HEPA air filter for home use, and with its 1200sq ft. rating it covers quite a bit of internal space. The covid pandemic highlighted internal air quality for a lot of people, and things like the recent wildfires have only reinforced this. If you're looking for a good air filter for a fairly large space, this is an excellent choice.

As someone who has a cat that... well loves to shed as my girlfriend reminds me this Shark Clean Sense Air Purifier was the perfect solution to the issue. Firstly, the design of the machine does not go unnoticed. The sleek cylindrical craftmanship makes it an electronic device that does not create an eye sore in the corner of the room. As someone who has owned plenty of competing products I can tell you that this device stands out from the rest. The Clean Sense IQ was quite an impressive function that I didn't anticipate to work so effectively in eliminating a lot of the dust and fur particles that would hang around in my room. Arguably one of the coolest features was the Odor Neutralizer Pod that is installed in the top. The smell was apparent but not overwhelming. It quickly filled my bedroom and made it smell like a whole different environment. I tested it also in my living room which had a much larger footprint and it performed just the same. Simply put if you need a solution to remove contaminants quickly and effectively while not making a lot of noise and truly blending into the overall envirorment look no further than this.

I cant really tell a difference in air quality, it says air is 100% clean so i guess it works.

After using the vehicle for a couple of days i did not see any change in air quality within the space that I was using it.

Broke within 10 days, Shark is supposed to be sending me a new one.

I wanted to love this and I was super excited because it’s shark but it wasn’t functional. The sensor didn’t work immediately after opening and kept reading my air quality at 100% even though my house is full of dust and allergens easily visible in the air. Will not buy again

After 2 months. It says 75% air filter life. But air quality is always stuck at 0%. Im at a loss. I dont want to spend 80 dollars on another air filter if thats not the problem.

The Shark Purifier Max is a must have in every home, apartment and small business. Coming in about 15lbs, the Share Purifier Max is certainly not a small appliance however it packs a punch in features which we will get into now. Upon opening the box, you will be greeted with the Shark Purifier Max appliance and the rather sparse instruction booklet. More on that in a little bit. This will have everything needed to setup and configure the Shark Purifier Max to be a set and forget appliance that monitors and cleans your air 24 /7 efficiently and extremely quiet. After only one day of running the Shark Purifier Max in our 900 sq ft townhome, the air was much cleaner, smelt better and overall was just fresher to breathe in. My wife and I have asthma and we almost immediately noticed a difference in the quality of the air we are breathing in by running the Shark Purifier Max in our home. The Shark Purifier Max is a very efficient, quiet and affordable complete home or small office air purifier appliance that will keep your family breathing clean fresh air for months on end.

Purchased on 9/21 it’s 10/10 and it stopped working 4 days past the return date.Turns on and runs saying air quality is it 0 percent I have another older model it says my air quality is at 100 %.wish I could return it.
