    This thing clears the air in a fairly quick time. After cooking some fried food, the sensor detected some smoky air...withing 40 minutes, my apartment was free of contaminants and food smell.

    Overall does a good job and keeps our apartment smelling great despite having 2 cats and 2 guinea pigs. However it randomly says our air quality is extremely poor and then will correct itself. Still works great.

    It is fairly quiet for its size, on low it makes very little noise. On medium, it sounds like a box fan. However high is pretty loud. The free scent booster worked fine for about a weak before no longer adding any smell.

    We have a wood bearning stove and sometimes when we stoke the fire some smoke will get into the house. It will see it and clean it up.

    I’ve had several issues with this air purifier to the point now that no matter how many times I clean the sensor in the back or try to keep dust out of it the percent gauge for the air quality controller always shows zero and send the fans into a full blast situation when on automatic. I’ve done several cleaning attempts via dusters, and other recommended methods found online to clean this device. The only way I know to get things handled is to contact customer support from BISSELL who will assist in providing a replacement unit, this only is a Band-Aid fix as you will run into the same problems down the road.
