Nice but Heavy

I purchased this for my mother-in-law for Christmas and she loves to see how much this vacuum picks up in comparison to her old vacuum from the 80's. However, my only complaint is that this item isn't nearly as 'light weight' as it highlights on the box. I purchased this item because I didn't want my mother-in-law to have to lug the item around the house.
