It has great suction. It's a little narrow and the cord is too short. It gets the job done though.

this fellow does the trick. i have a heavy shedding dog and no worries getting up all the fur. cord is a generous length. smaller head allows it go under furniture farther than my previous hoover. price is right. easy to switch between wood floor cleaning and carpet. i took off one star, because i wish the collection tank was larger, doesn't hold much debris and requires more trips to empty - other than that, wonderful

Excellent vacuum! does what it said it can do. Has not lost suction although I have not had it for long, just 3 weeks. My carpet feels really clean.

There are so many similar vacuums in this price range that I can't say this is better than others, but we are happy with it so far. Needs to be emptied often but is quick and easy to do.

Good quality for the price. Only reason not 5 star for me is the width of the sweeper is a little small. Other than that, it works great.

We were seriously looking at dyson vacuums. After reading online reviews for this vacuum, not to mention the attractive price, we decided to give it a chance. It has been close to one year and it has not been a disappointment. Dollar for dollar I doubt this vacuum can be beat!

My previous vacuum was a Fairfax canister model. $1400. I knew it was going to be tuff for a cheaper upright to live up to that. I've used the Dyson Animal Upright and it truly delivers, excellent choice. But this time I couldn't afford that price tag. I've heard good things about the Shark brand. All the reviews are excellent! Its got the same "Never lose suction" technology as Dyson! It's definitely comparable to Dyson. The only difference is, Dysons better quality, constructed with more durable materials. BUT, its way more expensive! So bottom line, if u have that kind of cash, get the Dyson. But if your like me and live on a little bit more of a modest income, GET THE SHARK! It is the best bang for your buck! Dyson is better construction but the Shark wasn't put together cheap. Its durable enough to last you for quite along time. I'm very happy with this purchase and super happy that I don't have to tote around that canister anymore! lol

This is my fifth Shark product. The customer service was super when I contacted them and was able to resolve my problem to my satisfaction.
