I like the lift away with this vacuum. Makes vacuuming easy for doing stairways.

Good suction and maneuverability. We have 2 of them, actually.

This vacuum works on hardwood and carpet with the bonus of brush and suction control for area rugs as well. It took 4 tries to find a vacuum that works on area rugs without eating them. The brush roll slows down for rugs and hard floors, and the suction control works perfectly.

I did a TON of research on this vacuum before purchasing, and I was really excited about it. So it was very disappointing when I got it home and assembled, only to have the vacuum blow dust-riddled air in my face while I used it. The vent on the front of the unit angles upward, pointing back toward the user when being pushed. I don’t know if it’s just because of my height, but no matter how I held it I was catching blasts of eyeball-drying air to the face with each push. I am extremely allergic to dust, my whole face hurt and my throat was swollen after vacuuming my 1000 sq ft apartment. That being said, the anti hair wrap feature worked really well. I have nearly waist-length hair (and 2 huskies, and a cat) and most vacuums make it all of 2 minutes in my midst before you can’t even see the roller anymore. This one had maybe 5 strands wrapped after vacuuming 3 times? Love that feature. I’ll probably try another Shark, but this one wasn’t for me.

Been a Hoover buyer all my life. I was hesitant to buy this brand but I couldn't be happier. Perfect for someone with back pain because the handle extends so no bending over. Works great and easy to clean.

It's a great vacuum. Good price with good suction.

The extension cord and tubes needs to be longer...

It has been the most reliable vacuum we have owned! The self cleaning head does exactly as it says it does and I have only ever had to pull something off of it 2-3 times in 2 years.

this is a wonderful hard-working vacuum. The lift away comes in so handy when doing the stairs. Plus it makes dusting of ceiling fans and high areas so much easier.

We have been using Dyson for almost 15 years. Finally got fed up with breaking plastic parts and the roller being a pain to remove long hair from. This new Shark is phenomenal. Best yet, no hair to remove from roller.

This shark has powerful suction, but another brand I purchased later picks up stuff this left behind, and I believe the type of suction in this vacuum aged my new carpets prematurely.

This is my 2nd Shark vacuum and performs as well if not better than the first. I have a 2300 square foot house and it can take a while to vacuum each room. Having a vacuum that is lightweight is key to avoid fatigue when cleaning larger homes and that is one of this model's best features. And despite the light weight, it still has plenty of power for carpeted floors. This model was easy to navigate around corners and it was easy to empty the dust bin. The included attachments were fairly standard and will serve pretty much any purpose you need. Time will tell if this vacuum holds up over the years, but my older Shark is still running strong and I expect this one to last a good while. It seems solid and well built. I think it's a great buy at a modest price.

Literally the best vacuum I have ever owned. In my opinion, it is worth every penny and I will never buy any other brand of vacuum. Shark is the way to go!

I love my new Shark Vacuum. We had 2 cats so there is always a lot of cat hair around. The sweeper cleans it all. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend it.

So far so good. Have only had the unit for a month. Great design and utility. The only con is that the unit is mostly plastic and I see some impending failures at the attachment points. Time will tell.

The majority of our floors are hardwood with the rest area rugs. The Shark Navigator handles them both equally well. A key feature is that it removes long hairs effectively from the roller.

Finally tried an upright with the swivel option and will never go back. This has been working well for quite some time now.
