Good but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Liftaway is somewhat useful but trade-off is very short hose. Still requires some manual dog hair removal after several uses for Great Pyrenees hair. Not sure it cleans as well as the Navigator I had before.

Overall it performs well
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just a month I bought this one, generally Shark vacuum cleaners are good. This is a better one than the one I had before. So far so good. However I am person would like to comment on any products after using it at-least 6 months.

Great sweeper for the cost
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had two Sharks. The rotator shark seemed to pick up better than this one and fluff my carpet. This one I need to go over a few extra times but it does pick up. I have pets and this it does better with the hair without getting tangled.

Worked for a week, then loss of suction.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It worked for a week but slowly seems like suction is diminishing. Called shark they sent new motor /main assembly and yet it still lacks power. I own the shark navigator prior to this one for 4 years and it was awesome, upgraded vacuums when we got new carpet for our house to this one for ease of use, and I still use my shark navigator instead of this shark lift away zero- M. This product sucks.

Could be better...
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To start this is not our first Shark Vacuum so I would like to compare this one to that model which is the Shark AX951. The new ZU562 model seems to share a good amount of features with that model however has some major drawbacks not only to that model but other vacuums in general. In the box you get the typical Vacuum itself with a few different heads to help with cleaning other surfaces that are not on the ground. This is normal for most vacuums these days. Also this one comes with the manual but lacks a carrying bag like the AX951 came with. Setting this unit up takes all of a few minutes which is great! Now getting straight into the performance of the ZU562 it works fairly well but with several drawbacks. As soon I starting using the vacuum I noticed the head or beater bar of this vacuum is VERY loud. Its almost so bad you might think something was wrong. After doing the floors for a while I noticed that the cord seemed stuck, well I figured out the cord is 5 feet shorter than our Shark AX951. This length was just enough to require moving the cord one additional time through the house. Not a big deal but another drawback nonetheless. The actual suction of the ZU562 is very good and on par with our older Shark. The canister contained quite a bit of hair and dirt but it also seemed to have more fuzz from the carpet than our other Shark picks up which makes me wonder if the different style brush is so good its tearing the carpet up as well. After doing an area with lots of longer hair I flipped the vacuum over and still found a few strands of hair wrapped around the brush. Not a big deal since it was easily pulled off but not as the vacuum advertises. Using the unit without the head is very easy because it is very lightweight! Stairs or whatever are easily done with the air powered spinning brush. One thing I noticed while using the vacuum in its normal up write position is the head lacks any form of lighting. To me this was a another major flaw. Lastly, the connector on the hose that secures the hose to the handle (Keeps it out of the way) does not stay in the hole well at all. I find it falls out with the smallest bumps to the hose. Overall the unit works fine but the missing features or inadequate aspects of this vacuum are very disappointing to see from Shark since our last vacuum was of much better quality although at a higher price. Pros: - Plenty of suction/picks up almost everything - Lightweight Cons: - No "headlights" on head of vacuum - Short Cord - Head is VERY loud when brush is spinning, motor itself is quiet. - Hose clip which secures hose to handle barely works - Switch to turn vacuum on and off is not on handle. Requires you to bend slightly For the price maybe these features are not realistic but the features that are here should work better. Vacuum itself works great but comes at a cost of noise, no lighting on the vacuum, a shorter cord. I would recommend checking out some of Sharks slightly more expensive models that seem to fix all of the downfalls of this vacuum.

Great and easy to maneuver vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this vacuum so far after a month. My only concern is that the internal dirt bin is rather small holding about 2-3 cups worth of dirt and lint but maybe my floors are just that dirty from my old vacuum having lousy suction!

Going back..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my shark products, however I will be going back to the blue lift away as I feel like I got more suction. Maybe my current red lift away is defective but I am going back to the blue.

Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used it on a clean carpet, and still picked up dust and dirt that couldn't be seen. I would truly recommend this vaccum for pet owners or people with allergies.

Gets the job done
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In a house with 3 long haired women, 2 construction workers, and 2 dogs; we have tons of hair and dirt. I am amazed at the amount of dirt that gets sucked up. It is also nice there is not hair everywhere.

Best vacuum ever
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this vacuum. It excellent when picking up pet hair. I have a long haired Pomeranian that is constantly shedding. This picks up all of the hair on the floor and it easily lifts out of the canister so that I can vacuum the couch that he likes to sleep. Even when it is full it continues to suck up dirt at full power. It does not lose power like other vacuums I have used. When it is in canister mode, it is very lightweight and not a hassle at all to use. It comes with plenty of attachments too. The only downside is that the cord is a little on the short side. I might get an extension to use with this.

very easy to use
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very versatile machine have use all three functions. Really like the flexibility of the side to side movement to get brush in tough angle spots. Would like more options to keep accessories with the unit

Vacuum is light and easy to move around
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have not had any hair on the pick up roller. This caused the last vacuum to destroy the brush roller. Time will tell if this design is better

Sturdy and dependable vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very solid Shark vacuum that is much higher quality than the lower priced Shark bagless upright - my last vacuum. I highly recommend it.
