The iron has a good balance and feel. The digital heat control works great. The iron produces a great burst of steam. The water reservoir is clear and easily read. I had two Rowenta Professionals. I like this one more right out of the box.

This iron looks and feels like a million bucks right out of the box. It has a wonderfully solid feel, great water capacity for it's size. The buttons and dials are all clearly marked and designed to provide a wonderfully ergonomic feel.

Great high quality iron and it heats up fast and the steam works very well. Would definitely recommend!

This iron has great features and with the 1800 watts of power, ironing is a breeze taking considerable less time to get the job done. It costs less than half of some of the well known brands that have less wattage. Great buy, I love it!

Besides feeling like I downgraded due to the fact this Shark does not have retractable cord (big disappointment) this is a really great iron

I bought this for my sewing projects and basic household use. The iron stopped working after only a few times using it but the customer service reps at Shark were amazing and sent me a new one right away! I read customer reviews that said their reps were terrible and had to pay money to get there irons fixed. Not the case for me. The iron has more weight to it then the description describes, but that was good for me. You don't have to press down to get wrinkles out & the gliding action is nice!

It is good to use, but I had one where the steam button stopped working after 8 months. To avoid the hassle of repairs and services went for another one. As this is the only one that I spotted with max watts in few shops - bought the same and worth the money.

Needed a new iron and purchased this one.. Gets really hot, easy to use and the price was just right...

Because some items need the touch of an iron, I purchased this Shark. I like that is gets "hot" and effectively eliminates wrinkles.

Had to return my iron because the steam and water button no longer pushed down after a few weeks, otherwise works well. I must have just got one of the few faulty ones.

Ease of use and it gets the wrinkles out fast. Like the auto shut off when forget to turn it off

I wear a uniform that gets starched everyday and this iron has held up for two months without any issue. My wife wear a lot of boutique cloths and this iron is able to steam them in a hurry so all of her clothes look perfect.

I have 4 school age greatgrand sons under the age of 9....I like their uniforms to always look as if they were being worn for the first time....so that meant going to the cleaners...since purchasing the Shark...UPI... (that's my name for it) I have achieved my goal...and for a lot less money....and the Shark is so easy to use. Thanks so much for the iron...i can also steam clothing on hangers...what a great investment.

This iron is very practical, steam is good, easy to use

This replaces an older Shark iron that after about 10 years of service went kaput. This one feels heavier, sturdier. So far does a good (not impressive) job of ironing out. Get hot pretty quickly, and the water reservoir is definitely better at holding water without spillages than my previous one, Only time will tell how reliable (10 more years?) it will be!

This is a very good iron. And a VERY HEAVY iron! Which is actually what I was going for, but it is heavy. Temperature is great -- gets hot. And no leaks. Has stainless steel soleplate & lots of vents. Controls are easy to use and reliable. And you can build up arm strength while you're using this!
