I leave my ironing board up all the time so it fits into the look of my room. I like the option to choose the fabric temperature. This iron produces a lot of steam which cuts back on my use of fabric sprays and starch to get the wrinkles out. I iron as I need it, which is every morning, so durability is important. Time will tell whether this iron has the right stuff to keep going longer than a year.
