    I've had this microwave almost a month now and am very happy with it. My old microwave was also a Sharp and it lasted ten years. I've had no issues with it. The only things I'm not crazy about are the bright clock light and the dim heating light inside when cooking.

    Very nice size and really like the chrome look on the outside. Very easy to operate. Only issue stopping the 5 Starr is their registration process

    This machine has worked flawlessly for the simple things I do with it. It seems well built. One excellent feature is that it does NOT continuously beep at you when something is done. It beeps once and then shuts up.

    Well built unit, Getting used to its features. Defrosted a slice of blueberry pie, it did defrost but the result was uneven, some portions were still icy while others were warm. Maybe it ws due to the uneven thickness of the slice. My previous Sharp microwave worked well for 20 years.

    Love it overall, but two design details are missing: 1) The convenience of a "30 second" timer as available on my prior microwave unit. So handy when full minutes are either too "short" or "too long" and often requires personal "monitoring". 2) The dark interior...can't see food splatters to wipe away. Helen G. --- 7/19/2025

    We have used this microwave for over two months with no issues. It works very well. We would recommend it to other buyers. It has some features that we prefer over our previous microwave. Prefer the larger rotating dish. Prefer the screen layout. We found two things that are worth mentioning. First, the microwave beeps when the heating finishes. It does not beep again if you fail to remove the heated item. It would be useful if it briefly beeped periodically until you opened the door to remind me that something is still in the microwave. Second, the button to open the door requires more force than we prefer. However, this could be a very good feature if you have small children/grandchildren to prevent them from opening the door. Overall we are very happy with this microwave. It has worked reliably and as expected for over two months.
