Really loving this and does what I need simply. don't need to work for Nasa to know how to use it.

Purchased this for my daughter and her roommates that just graduated from NYU and they love it!

For the price;$99.00, For a general use purpose,returning for repair is not worth the trouble.

I needed to replace my microwave as the letters and numbers no longer were completely visible. Having been satisfied with two Sharp products, I wanted to replace with the same model. The new model isn't comparable. Looks are deceiving. . .same size outside, but smaller inside. The dish is smaller and difficult to place on top of the three prongs. The black dashboard is not easy to see and impossible to decipher

This microwave once i pressed the time and start button there is a delay before cooking begins. No express cooking feature.

Sharp is a good, reliable brand, and this one came with an attractive price tag. It replaces an all-black model, and the strainless-steel face is a nice change of pace. Some have complained about the buttons being hard to see, and I agree. But I don't agree with the complaints about the light. Having the light NOT come on when you open the door is a good feature. It saves bulbs and energy, and lets you leave the door open to air out any lingering odors. Note: Be aware that the one you buy might actually have more buttons/features than what you see in the picture. Mine did. Sharp apparently has upgraded this model.

Heats food well and is easy to use, as for the noise I didn't think it any noisier than other microwaves. I purchased this unit just over a year ago and it's making a loud grinding noise when in operation. Loud enough so that my guests move out of the kitchen. Would not recommend Sharp.

Don't get me wrong; this is a decent little cheap microwave. Ot wasn't until I started using it that I discovered two BIG FLAWS. 1. The keypad is not backlit. This is compounded by low contrast type. In low light conditions, you cannot see what to push... like when you're warming up tea at night, and don't want to turn on a light. 2. The ZERO is on the right. This may seem insignificant, but 50 years of numeric keypads with the zero on the bottom make this NON-intuitive... have to turn on the light to check. 3. A third small thing is that you have to input the power level FIRST, then the time. Better microwaves, IMO, allow you to do this before or after. It shouldn't be an issue, because there is a dedicated button.

Just bought my first Microwave counter-top oven and I love it. It's easy to use interface works well for all members of my family. It is the right size (inside and out) and I got it for under $100. If you're looking for a microwave, I recommend you choose this one. FYI: The white version is $20 cheaper.

The first one died while still under warranty. The replacement lasted less than 4 years and died. First it wouldn't heat anything, then it worked again for a day or two, then the light inside wouldn't come on and the tray stopped rotating. Our previous microwaves lasted 15 years or more and the one in our rental house is going on 20. My parents gave me one from their old house that still worked but it was just too large - that thing must have been 30 years old. They know exactly how to make a microwave that lasts more than 10 years but don't. Throw it out and buy another brand I guess. I hate this planned failure junk these days. Give me a 10 year warranty and I'll spend $100 more.
