I needed to find something simple to use, mainly for reheating food. This Sharp is perfect. The menu is simple and the door open button is very light, especially for an elderly person.

But it's fine for simple reheating and making popcorn--that button works just fine.

It performs better than the built-in, cooks quickly and is a good size. I recently bought a second one of these when my built-in failed out of warranty.

should have looked for one better made

However, there is a difference in the quality from the one we replaced. This was is lighter weight and has no timer and the carosel doesn't stay in place and I am afraid it will fall out. All in all it is fine and works well, but this is the only one that would fit in the space. Maybe we should have looked around more. controls are confusing.
