Disappointed it does not contain a light inside, but it works great.

I had to replace an old Sharp Carousel that lasted me almost 25 years. I bought this one and it has all the features I loved on the old one plus more. I use the sensor cook buttons all the time. I use my microwave to actually cook whole meals in, not just reheat or cook frozen foods. This is the best microwave for the price by far. If I live long enough to have to replace this one, it will definitely be another Sharp! The only complaint I have with the new one is the cover over the touchpad seems very thin, hopefully it will not wear or poke through.

I had to replace my old microwave after 20 years. I found this one and it was on sale. It was the most like my old one and has some very nice new features. I am not sure the outside material is thick enough to last as long as the old one but we will see. It is doing good so far.

We bought this microwave for our lower built in kitchen cabinet. It's looks great and we love all the features. Since it's used in a bottom built in, I made sure I found a reasonable priced microwave with a child lock feature for our 2 year old toddler. Easy to press buttons and easy to read menu on the microwave.

This is an exact replacement, we bought one and had it for less than 90 days. It started over hesting and shutting down, couldn't even cook a bag of popcorn, shut down in less than 3 min and reset in about 2. I attribute this to closing the door to hard. We will see how this one holds up.

Sharp was the first microwave I had in 1982. Tried a few others throughout the years. When it was time to replace the microwave I decided to go back to Sharp for the dependability of it. The only thing that would put this model over the top would be a backlit panel.

This microwave is large enough for a casserole size dish, has a 30 second button which I use a lot.

I was looking to replace a 25 yo microwave that had all the bells and whistles (probe, convection, etc). Definitely didn't need all the extra features of the old one but did want higher wattage and big cooking area. This Sharp has everything I need, looks good, and works great! The pre-programmed menu settings actually work perfectly well. Especially the plate warming function. I liked it enough I bought another for my granddaughter!

Read reviews about some other brands of microwaves having trouble with the door latches breaking too soon. Reviews for the Sharp didn't mention any problems so we went with it. So far very happy with the look and performance. Seems to heat rapidly and evenly

My last microwave was a Sharp and it lasted more than 10 yrs. I was happy with it so decided to stay with Sharp again.

...this one is "okay." Who really needs a button specifically for "popcorn" or "hot drinks" or to defrost "meat," "poultry," or "fish?" Give me a simpler button layout for defrost, cook, et cetera. In all fairness, most of the models in this price range had pretty much the same button assortment. I'd like to see more basic functionality and less of this specialization. This model, I've found, needs a little bit more time than called for on frozen meals, despite it supposedly being a 1200 W oven.
