Sharp Carousel microwave

I was set on a new sharp Carousel microwave because I had such good luck with the 1st one I've owned since 1986. This one had so many extra buttons and sensors that I didn't really care for. The turntable was the main feature that I wanted. Sometimes it turned right & sometimes it turned left which the owners manual said was normal. But sometimes it didn't turn at all! That was not normal! I returned it!

Not sure if it was a lemon or not, but I've never seen that with a microwave. Exchanged it for an LG and glad I did.

Two defective, getting refund and going elsewhere
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know whether the complicated electronics were just too banged around in shipment, or there is something innately wrong with this oven, but the original one wouldn't heat anything, and the replacement turns completely off and stops working after heating anything. You have to unplug it, wait a while, plug it back in, re-program the clock, etc., and then it will heat once more and do the same thing all over again. I tried twice because I liked the looks, and I've had Sharp ovens always and trusted the brand, but it was difficult dealing with the mailing back and replacements and all of the different very nice people at BestBuy where I ordered it telling me different things, so this time, I'm sending it back and asking for a refund. I've ordered an oven from somewhere else.
