Angry to receive it damaged like it was thrown around. Was excited and anxious for it to get here! Waited a bit to recieve and now cant get a replacement due to it now being out of stock. The plate was just placed in there with no protection whatsoever. What a shame because It was pretty too and a good, big size too!!! It literally said “HANDLE WITH CARE” waited all this time and for nothing! LAME!! Never again!!!

Feels like a cheaply made microwave that is over priced but I didn't want to spend almost $400 on the next one up Very poor selection of microwaves There is NO seal on the door Not sure how it stops harmful rays being released

I bought this Sharp microwave in Feb. 2024 and less than 8 months later the paint on the interior ceiling cavity bubbled and began to peel! At first I thought it was food residue but it was bumpy and would not come off with a sponge and dish detergent. Upon closer examination I could see that the ceiling was rusty with paint coming off! When I shared the problem and photos with the Sharp "support" team, they incorrectly determined that "abrasive cleaners" had been used. Completely untrue! And how can they make that determination without even looking at the physical unit? I am completely frustrated and disappointed with Sharp and I would NEVER recommend any of their products based on my terrible experience. Do yourself a favor and find another brand.

Had 2 of these die within 13 months. The first was replaced by the manufacturer. (Was getting service code and would not heat). My replacement just died outside of the warranty (producing toxic-smelling, burning odor when using). The high ratings sold this one for me, but my (2) did not last.

a great size microve from sharp, loving the stainless steel black and grey tone of the microwave, its clean with simplistic modern design. 1200 Watts and it’s a great size microwave with measurements of 24.4 width x 19.6 depth with plenty of place on the inside as, much better bigger than my previous microwave. you have your LED light and the button sensitivity was also great, you don’t have to push much pressure just to get the button to register. overall heating up food and my coffee was about right the right heat it should be. didn’t encounter any issue with the machine spinning or giving heat. pressing 1 on the microwave will automatically set you go 1min of heating time. you will need to press “cook time” if you want a specific time to cook your food. not much negative thing I could say about this microwave, the only thing I don’t like and this based on user preference is that I like to automatically pick my own time to cook rather than pressing an extra step to get there, previously microwave when pressing 1 it means one second, and for me i prefer that kind of setting. it’s a minor thing and again it’s based on the user. overall experience im satisfied with this microwave, great space, it looks good and not a heavy microwave to move around.

Sharp always does a great job with quality. Right away, the door hinges are strong. I don’t feel like I have to slam it shut. I appreciate that it doesn’t take up too much counter space. It’s big for big dishes and also it’s easy to clean. So many features to learn but I can tell you that the heat is right and I love the one touch cooking options. It’s loud but nothing that’s disturbing. It cooks fast. The stainless steel is very complimentary with blending with your kitchen style or look. The Setup is easy and I’m so happy the clock display is bright lol. It’s a mini night lite. Easy to read as well. With everything on the quick side these days, you won’t be impatient with reheating your leftovers. It heats fast but do make sure you watch the popcorn though. It burnt on me the first time trying it out. There’s still more to learn but for the basic use, you won’t be disappointed. Display is nice and bright, thanks to the LED, the door hinge is strong and the heat is fast. Thank you SHARP.

My Oster microwave had failed on me after sometime and I was searching for a replacement and saw the Sharp was available. With all the advancements in technology I was curious to see how well this would work and what it would offer I have heard about microwaves with “Inverter technology” and decided to check it out. :::Pros & Cons::: Pros: - Inverter tech - Spacious - Feature rich - Silent Cons: - Can be a little annoying if you must calculate measurements and things but it is no fault of the manufacturer. :::General thoughts::: What can one really say about a microwave it is a straight forward product that serves a basic purpose to heat or reheat perishables. I thought to myself what could really be different about this device? Well, after sometime using it clearly, I was pleasantly surprised. There was a lot to like about this microwave namely the inverter. What is an inverter well it is a feature that allows the microwave to operate at a constant power setting. For example, you would not want to have the device operate at full capacity to reheat pizza for 30 seconds. This feature would allow you to set it to a low power seating and it would not burn your pizza to oblivion. And it could be the opposite as well you can set the power to high or low depending on what you are heating up. This is a big microwave and has a capacity of 2.2cubic feet. It is not tiny and can fit quite a bit. It weighs about 34lbs and the outer dimensions are 24.4 x 19.6 x 13.6 inches. There are many settings to do whatever you want and it works well within reason if you follow the instructions provided in the guide. There are procedures and guidelines you must adhere to get the most out of this microwave and for it to operate efficiently. :::Closing thoughts::: I am happy with my microwave it is practically silent and you do not know it is on sometimes It is something I appreciate you can enable the silent feature I forget how but it can be enabled and disabled just refer to the guide. This microwave does a great job for those who want more out of their device and want something beyond just insert and reheat. :::TL;DR::: You need a microwave get this; you want an awesome microwave then get this. This does it all and then some just make sure you have the space for it.

This microwave is big, 2.2 cubic feet, can easily reheat a large pizza or turkey. One other important differentiator is this microwave is using inverter technology to supply power to the magnetron. This enables more precise temperature/power control and in my personal experience using it, it always resulted in better or even cooking, perfect defrosting and less chance of overcooked or unthawed areas. Inverter technology also help with melting chocolate, which is a very heat sensitive process. By supplying continuous microwave power instead of pulse modulation, the chocolate melted perfectly. This microwave also has sensor cook, it works by checking the amount of steam emitting out from the food so if you covered the food, sensor cook will not work since no steam is coming out. Beside the above, it has auto cook functions, melting or softening butter, cheese and ice-cream. The defrost function can be done by weight or by time. The exterior is made of brushed stainless steel and the design looks very modern. Unfortunately the interior is not stainless steel and the LED is not bright enough.

Microwave arrived very dented. Very disappointed. Would have bought in store but wasn't an option.

Our 8 year old microwave has gotten a little louder (it was already loud) and more importantly we realize we need a bigger model as our older microwave is 1.6cu and a bit under powered. After quickly measuring our "Microwave alcove" I realized this model would fit just right. Arriving in a box worthy of its size, one thing that has continued to amaze me with Microwaves over the decades is how they continue to get more powerful with larger holding chambers yet get lighter and lighter. The Sharp is dimensional wise bigger than our 8 year old model but weighs less. Setup is a breeze as modern microwaves make setup and usage almost fool proof and not needing a manual yet if needed there is a nice manual included to guide you through everything you might need to know. After installation, you are met with a nice microwave with a large keypad, clear and distinct clock which is easy to read across the kitchen area and a large and cavernous capacity. I love the dark interior with the stark lighting as it makes all items easy to see through the larger view window. I decided to heat up my standard cup of tea since my older model required ~2 minutes to reach steaming status. With the Sharp those same two minutes had my tea visibly boiling so it definitely packs a bigger punch. Having used microwaves since childhood (many MANY decades ago) I am amazed at how quiet this Sharp is while heating up food and drink items. Initially when I tapped"2" for a 2 minute warm up I thought it might not be working or at a lower setting it is that much quieter than my older microwave. I tested it with heating up soup later and some left overs and what can I say? It just works. 5 minute setup and works as advertised while running with much less noise and a nice stainless steel look and feel. It is competitively priced and gets the job done.

This is a great microwave, it's quiet, fairly easy to understand the pre-programmed selections, and everything is as advertised, plus I like the bigger size at a reasonable price. The only change I would ask for is to add better slip-resistant feet to it.

It is very large & very powerful. It is also easy to use. The EXPRESS COOK and +30 SEC buttons are very handy, and the Potato button works great to produce a nice, fluffy potato! It does interrupt my WiFi signal when running, but that is not a fault of the product. All of the other available microwaves were going to take a week to be delivered, and this was too long to go without a microwave. Best Buy delivered it the following day right to my doorstep.

I’ve had this microwave for 3 weeks and really like it. It is more roomy than my old one, but takes up the same counterspace. It was easy to learn how to use. It’s quieter than my old one was. It hums rather than growling. I did have to change how I make popcorn. The old microwave took four minutes. This one takes 75 seconds. A smoky lesson. It’s easy to operate and there was no real learning curve. Other than my popcorn.

Excellent! This thing is HUMONGOUS. It's absolutely silent when it's running. I just replaced a 20 year old GE microwave that was still working. It just looked so old, outdated, and sounded like a freight train. The difference is stunning! It's sleek, clean, looks great. My only complaint is a small, superficial one. The button that opens the door always looks wavy. Like distorted. The chrome doesn't match the rest of it. I can't explain it. Anyway. Night and day. Works so fast and so efficiently.

I o most of y food prep and cooking in a microwave and have owned many since the 70s. This microwave is the largest and most powerful one I've ever owned. It is so quiet you can't even hear it running when standing next to it. There are many settings that I haven't used yet, more than my previous ones had. I had one that lasted more than 15 years. All the others died after only a few years. I am hoping the high quality of this oven has an equally long life. I do recommend this microwave oven for serious users. You won't regret it.

Great grwat great cant say it enough this thing is a behemoth its so huge yoi can cook an entire lasanga dinner in it not to mention the power specs this thing blasts food to a crisp! in a good way. Plus it features all the newest technologies like inverter wave and sensor cook along with like 50 million preset cooking program features like the must have popcorn button.

This Sharp microwave is a winner! It's got all the space I need for big dishes, and the sensor cooking makes life so much easier – no more guessing! Plus, with the inverter technology, my food comes out perfectly cooked every time. It looks sleek on my countertop too. Definitely worth the investment.

Large and Cooks in less time .Well lite and quite.Classic look and fit our space and our needs according .We’ve had other brands but they didn’t last as long and were louder in sound.

I absolutely love this microwave. From the size, power and most of all it is so quiet. My much less powerful microwave made way more noise than this. You will truly not be disappointed.
