Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd you want a steaming media device...get a Roku. It's just as good built-in to the TV. Now 720p is fine we don't need 4K TVs I can barley tell the difference on most models

Great While It Lasted

Great Grice, Great size, Great Picture, Great Features - only One Thing : It only lasted 3 1/2 years to the Day. Out of nowhere - "the Black Screen of Death" occurred & nothing would fix it. I tried everything in the Book - you name it (incl. Reset etc). The set would stay on & work perfectly for about 5-10 min., then it would shut off & wouldn't turn back on. I suspect a faulty internal Component causing the malfunction as the set reaches operating temperature. I'm so sad & disappointed. I really loved this little TV-its great performance & features. I would have given 5 Stars if it would have lasted a lot longer. And the saddest thing about it is - I really didn't use it that much to cause it to burn out after only 3 1/2 years. I only used the set mainly at night to watch & fall asleep to & occasionally watch a movie or a Sports game. Never on all day & way into the night etc. RIP my sweet little Sharp 24" Roku TV - to the Toxic Waste Dump you go, after such a short visit.

Volume not good

Have to have the volume almost all the way up and when the commercials come on the volume is so loud you have to keep muting or lowering the volume...Very annoying..I have tried every sound setting and got the same results. Roku part is OK if you like watching much older movies...nothing more recent is free.

Volume control doesn’t work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The remote volume control doesn’t work. TV manufacture date 8/2018. Bought TV 11/2018. TV volume quit working 12/2018. We use the TV’s remote as well as a TiVo remote, and neither works. We have to reboot the TV multiple times daily in order to get the remotes to change the volume just one or two levels. Then after a few minutes, neither remote will change volume at all. Best Buy’s return policy is substandard. We tried to return the TV but BB would not take it back. Return policy time length is way too short. I will never buy from Best Buy again. Usually we buy from Amazon, this time we bought from BB and we are sorry. I will also never buy a Sharp product again.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took this set home and was able to set it up in the bedroom in under 15 minutes. Even after fine tuning & adjusting, the picture was not as vivid and colorful as my other smart TV;s at home. After 15 minutes the screen kept freezing and going to snow and static. After resetting this problem kept popping up every few minutes. I returned this unit the next day and exchanged it for the insignia Fire smart TV at the same price. The Insignia TV seems so much better- nice vivid picture, and no snow problem. Since Sharp TV's are not really made by Sharp- but by a Chinese company Hisense, I would not recommended this product.

What a Mess!

Now, you need to setup a Roku account (on a separate device like a phone or computer), then have it scan for the channels, and go through Roku’s extensive process. WHY?! NEVER buying anything with the name ROKU on it. Apple TV all the way.

Arrived defective
