I am happy with this item - it was easy to set up - has a nice sound, and is a good replacement for my old one.

A feature I was looking forward to I can not use. The radio reception is horrible! I have tried contacting Sharp but they will not respond. My 14 year old generic unit has 100 times better reception than this product. Now for some reason the unit keeps shutting itself off (and yes the sleep mode is turned off). Basically if I could find the box I would send it back. The one good quality is it has a great sound when it's working.

Posted .Thank you for your recent review of your CDDH950P. We are happy to help. This audio system includes an Auto Power On feature that cannot be disabled. This feature turns the audio system off after 15 minutes of low/no signal. If this is happening when using the tuner we would recommend moving your antenna closer to a window to improve your antenna signal strength.

Was disappointed when my old stereo was damaged and didn't think I would be able to get a good replacement, so I was really happy that I found this unit.
