The merchandise was perfect for my bedroom. Don't have to get up to keep changing disc.

I am using this stereo in my elementary music classroom. I have many cds that i use for each class and i like being able to access them without having to open the cd tray every time. This stereo has a good volume and power. Its not super powerful but fills the need for my classroom

This Sharp stereo system is good but is quite large. It does have a radio, a 5 disc shuffle CD player PLUS a cassette player which was great for us. The price was reasonable.

We are 'old school', still wanting to enjoy cassettes that we have collected for years but find no way to play them on most new setups. Was totally surprised to find this Sharp player at Best Buy, even on sale, brought it home, hooked it up and have enjoyed using it since.

This Sharp - 240W 5-Disc Compact Stereo/2-Way Speaker System - Black did not last very long. The 5 Disk CD Player is no longer working. It is less than 2 years old and was used very little, probably a couple of times a month. We called Sharp and to their credit they had us try a reboot. The reboot had worked before when the cassette player quit working but it did not work with the CD Player. We also got a CD Lens cleaner hoping that was the issue but it was not. Bottom line put your money on a product that will last longer preferably not a Sharp product.

Sharp products have always impressed me. Quality and longevity for a great value. Time will tell with this unit. Bought it as a gift for my teen son and he is all smiles! The full remote functions is definitely a plus!!

I needed something with a cassette player, and this has one, and works exactly how you would expect it to.

I like the fact that it has 5 CDs and a remote. Took awhile to get use to but reading the directions help greatly, very happy with unit.

I like this product but this is the second I have purchased in 3 years. of course the warranty is only good for 3 years, so I had to buy a new one. to have the eye changed, would cost more then buying a new one. I do use the cd player every night when I go to bed, so it is used often but the last player I had lasted 5 years. things just don't last like they use to.

works great in the home office with remote control, can reduce the sound and stop or pause if I get an incoming call.

Bought this for my Mom, since this was the only boom box that plays cassettes. Well to my surprise, this thing sounds really good, no distortions, very nice bass, everyone asks where I bought it. Could not be happier with this purchase.

All in all this is a good unit. The sound is good for its size. The most disturbing feature is the remote. The remote is tiny making the operation difficult.

I bought this and wish I could have returned it. It is outdated and it does not sound to loud. I got it for a present and was unable to ask for it back to get rid off. Wish I would have got them something else. This stereo has the old 30pin for a ipod and iphone which is outdated. You might be able to buy an adapter for it to switch to the lightning cable. Other than that I wouldn't recommend this stereo. There is much nicer systems for the prize of this one.

This is a very nice sound system for a small office but we have had trouble with the system just shutting down complety. We have to turn it back on.
