The picture could be better, but that could be because I don't have an HD setup. I'll say this: the audio is definitely better than my last one (a Haier?)!

Also, the stand broke as I was attaching it. If you're not going to mount it on the wall, I would suggest purchasing one with a sturdy stand.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, this TV is a good value. Easy to set up and optimize, input/outputs good for set of this size. Picture is very nice. (Many sets of this size are 720p.) The sound is another story: muddy dialogue, no bass (laptop speakers?) and from "20" to "max," it hardly increases db's! My hearing is pretty good, but I ran it on "MAX" for a DVD. (Pair with a Vizio SB2920 for great sound!) Cheap remote. Designers ignored ergonomics. Rows of buttons are jammed closely to markings and frequently used buttons can't be reached easily in the hand. What's the difference between "Audio" and "Sound Mode" or "AV Mode" and "View Mode"? Skipping non-active inputs make it difficult for universal remotes to change.
I would recommend this to a friend Poor sound volume.

I am using this TV on a portable stand for game play (Playstation, Xbox) and OTA bedroom watching. The TV is light. I picked up in a NYC Manhattan store that's 1/2 mile away from my apartment. I actually carry/walk home with it. It weighs about 10lbs for the TV. With box, and stands, probably 15 pounds. My first impression after I opened the box was this TV is thick. I think the general thickness is about 3 inches. It's as thick if not thicker than my LCD TV from 5 years ago. Mounting screws (if you want to install on a mount) is included. You would need a 100 x 100mm VESA mount. Setup was very simple. There's a set up wizard that help you configure the TV (ie labeling the input ports, scanning channels). I was able to pick up over 50 channels in NYC. The TV color is vibrant. There's a game mode as well, but I didn't notice much difference between non-game mode and game mode. The speakers are under powered. I have to turn up to 50% in my bedroom. On my old AOC 24" LCD TV, I only need to crank up about 33%. All in all, this TV is a value buy At $180.
