Picture placement options are poor, Either wide screen (gray gaps top and bottom) or standard (gray gaps on both sides) widescreen cuts off program info on cable banner. It's ok if on a very limited budget.

I generally purchase Samsung brand, but we also have a Sharp in the house so I chose this one over the comparable Samsung due to having more hdmi ports. Ok so fast forward, Christmas comes she opens the gift and is all excited. Then within one month which is the end of Jan 2016, she turns the tv on one day and nothing but lines and colors are on the screen. The sound is gone and the screen appears as if something internal has exploded. My daughters all upset I immediately contact Sharp Support because the bestbuy extended holiday return policy had just expired on Jan 15, 2016. Sharp advises that I return the set to Bestbuy Geeksquad and then they would check it and send it out for service. Now here if is, my daughter has to wait several weeks for her new Xmas led tv gift that she had for one month and can nolonger enjoy. This is ridiculous, I now feel like a father who bought his kid an inferior gift and just sending a repaired piece of junk won't cut it.
