Customers are saying
Customers admire the 32" Class (31.5" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Roku TV for its exceptional picture quality, user-friendly Roku interface, and affordable price. Many users have praised the hassle-free setup process, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable and budget-friendly television. While some have expressed concerns about the lack of a number pad on the remote control and a slightly slow startup time, these drawbacks seem minor compared to the overall positive feedback.

Problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture on this is great. The refresh rate seems adequate although I am not sure it will be great with fast action movies as I have seen some lag but it is internet too so I can't solely blame the TV. Setup is simple, the screen with a small border is great as it looks low profile. The feet take seconds to install (although they are fairly space age and don't fit many decors). Out of 3 HDMI ports I can only use 1 on the side as the other 2 you can only use a cord or a very small device (my 4" device can't fit). The downside is I installed this TV at 4pm and within 4 hours it has frozen and lost sound then reset itself 2x. Not good. I will be returning for another and if it happens again I will switch to another brand. Another negative is the remote. The volume buttons are on the right so when navigating you constantly hit them if you're right handed. It feels like Sharp designed this but never tested the tv or remote or these issues would be non issues. Right now I would recommend it due to the reviews and that there aren't many 1080p 32" tvs with roku. If it fails I will go to the insignia which is 720p but almost identical.

Great Value!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this because I needed a smaller screen (32") set for our Master bathroom and one which has good resolution (1080p) and Smart capability for a very small budget. For the money $189, it is an amazing deal! However, the one I bought had non-working WiFi (displayed MAC Address 00:00:00 etc) so had to return it to Best Buy for an exchange. The exchanged item generally works well, although I haven't used it fully so far. The only problem appears to be screen sharing with an android Smart phone which doesn't seem to pair properly. The software driving this appears to be in beta and may work after a firmware update becomes available. Other criticisms are speed of switching between Apps. , no Ethernet port and small, low functionality remote. You get what you pay for and all in all this appears great value for the buck!

Excellent for smaller room....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the Roku platform and the 1080p picture is beautiful. This is a TV that is designed for people that are into streaming video apps. It is not a TV that is designed for traditional cable use although it can certainly be used for that, rather for streaming apps. Highly impressed and simple to set up....

Good Small Television
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bright Picture, decent sound if you add a sound bar. Instinctively picked up my antenna from startup, looked for a cable hookup (I'm not going because it is my patio TV), wireless worked easy and loaded all my Roku apps from my Roku account. Awesome, easy to setup and use. Thank you Best Buy and Sharp.

Finally a great tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought and took back 3 tv's before I was satisfied with this Sharp with 32" and roku. I bought Vizio,TCL and Samsung all had certain screen clarity problems.Soap Opera effect, Motion effect watching a football game, color adjustment issues. In fairness the Samsung was a 40 inch 1080p had good picture but mounted on the wall in front of my computer desk, the screen was too big and looked bad at that close of range.Had excellent picture at 10 to 12 ft. away but I hated the layout of the remote and lack of apps on the smart feature. The 1080p 32" sharp is a great little tv with natural looking faces with clean, sharp colors right out of the box. In my opinion this is the best 32" tv out there.

Slow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having some issues with this tv staying connected to the internet. Tv is also quite slow to start up or respond to remote commands. That being said, it has good picture quality and it's pretty simple to navigate thru menu options.

Good so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an old much smaller 4:3 ratio LCD in our kitchen. I didn't want to spend much, as many do and knew at $169 it wasnt going to be the best in the world, but it was very good as expected. No defects. They really push Roku on you, so if you love Roku, this will work well for you. You don't have to use it though, but you must sign up for a Roku account before even using this TV. After that you're good to go. The picture is decent, though not as bright as premium TVs. Adjusting the settings really helps the brightness. This was also cheaper than the same TV on Amazon, so always shop around! Not everything is cheaper on Amazon! It used to be that way, but no longer. People need to wake up.

Good for some
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: This Sharp Roku TV has a really great picture. Roku is built in, so if you like that kinda thing, it's great for you. The price is great for a 1080p tv. There are 3 HDMIs. Cons: the TV and Roku are intertwined, meaning when you turn the TV on, you have to wait until everything loads. That can be a drag. The tv is in general a bit slow. There is only a Roku remote that controls the tv. There is no separate remote. This makes it annoying to watch antenna tv because there are no numbers or page down buttons on the Roku. I didn't like the red light that blinks each time I engaged a button on the Roku remote. It was annoying. ESPN and CNN did not always work. Honestly, I liked the insignia Roku tv better. It was faster and espn and CNN always worked.

Great TV and Features for the Price - Good Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought this TV for my teenager's room...the features were exactly what I was looking for, and the sale price was perfect. The TV is modern, lightweight, and designed with smart features that allow connection to numerous sources, including plenty of HDMI connections as well as a home wifi network for streaming. The setup is straightforward and logical, and easy and quick to go from box to watching. The on-screen image is excellent, even from various angles to the side of the TV. The 1080p resolution is still very good, and the colors are vivid and rich. The only real issue I have is with the processor. You definitely get what you pay for. Although navigating the menus is quick, you do experience some buffering when switching from channel to channel during streaming. While not an issue with the TV, I also wish I bought a little larger one than this 32"...10 years ago, that was considered a larger screen; now, it feels like a computer monitor!

Can't beat it for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic color quality for a low-lit bedroom, decent speakers for how light and flat it is, and supports that aren't super wide set and hard to fit into an entertainment center. Almost everything about the way the TV functions can be customized in the settings -- ignore the other reviews that say you have to choose an input on startup, you can set it to remember the last one used.

Easy setup, quick connection, great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my daughter to have in her college apartment. She watches Netflix all the time, so having that directly available through Roku (plus all the other interesting and sometimes offbeat Roku channels) was a big plus. As soon as I turned it on, a setup wizard walked me through everything. It was up and running with all the cable channels programmed in just a few minutes. My daughter was also excited when I connected her MacBook to the TV via the HDMI input. I'm very happy with this - and even happier that we got it with the College Student program discount!

Great Price, Great Picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The current price (180.00) is unbeatable, Great picture, streamed a movie via HDMI port. Amazing picture, good audio, perfect for a medium sized room, setup was quick, 3 HDMI ports, coaxial, USB, no VGA, or s-video. May cut the cord soon, with a decent wifi bandwidth. With Built in RokuTV, can't be beat, anywhere.

Awesome TV, but.....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hooked up my TV and it is great. Good picture and sound. My only issue is that I cannot find the backslash (\) on the on-screen keyboard and this is a symbol in my Amazon Video password. I looked on Sharp website and this model TV is not found. Hopefully someone can help with this issue.

Great for the brand name items
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV for the price. It has a lot of features and I use the two day shipping. They come in good shape. It has all the features of the bigger name brand TV's but can you really see a difference? Not really.

Good picture, bad wifi
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed something for my office. The picture is great, the sound is good and it looks good. However, I find that the TV resets and freezes quite often. I have brand new google wifi and this sits next to the main router, so it shouldn't be an issue with internet in the house. I looked and maybe it is the apps (Netflix freezes often) but the TV will freeze and then reset itself. I tried using a USB-Ethernet adapter but found that it is not compatible with this TV. I hope it could just be the apps (Xfinity Beta and Netflix) but overall, I am somewhat disappointed that it does not seem to work quicker.

Update
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wrote earlier that my TV wouldn't remain connected to my network. After troubleshooting the WiFi, etc, I thought I'd try connecting my old Roku Box using the HDMI port on my Roku TV. Guess what? It worked. Now I'm certain it isn't my network. Funny, I have a Roku Box connected to a Roku TV. It's unfortunate that the Roku TV feature is an issue because the picture quality is fine and the sound is good, though it would be better with a sound bar (as with most these days). I haven't had trouble with Best Buy products before, but this is not a keeper. I'm hoping the exchange process is smooth.
