Customers are saying

Customers admire the 32" Class (31.5" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - Smart - HDTV - Roku TV for its exceptional picture quality, user-friendly Roku interface, and affordable price. Many users have praised the hassle-free setup process, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable and budget-friendly television. Remote to simple to watch tv only up and down bottoms(if you are at channel 2 and whant channel 55 the only way to get it is by going up one channel at a time) The Instructions says you can download manual at web site but when I go there there is no manual. Also It says on the box that you can set up Home page for every member of the family but when I went to the setup there is no memtion on how to set up.

This is my 2nd Sharp Roku, the first one is doing great - it's the larger 43 inch size. This one has been hooked up 2 weeks, and when I turned it on tonight, it comes on, but will not respond to the remote other than to power on and off. (Not the batteries either) The red light blinks, and it makes the noise that it normally does, in response, but it will not change anything on the screen, so now it is completely useless. I no longer have the box of course, but I am hauling this thing back to Best Buy. Very very disappointed.

I was looking for a simple but smart type of TV for my grandson. This one was just perfect in size and had all the cool gadgets that my daughter asked for her son. Everyone was happy.

    Just what I wanted

My old tv died after 8 years. Being an extremely low tech senior and both my wife and I being hearing impaired I wanted a 32" 1080 WITH an earphone jack, as we both use headsets to watch tv. This Sharp model was the perfect fit for our needs. The remote threw us for awhile but we finally figured it out. VG picture and sound with a lot of features we don't fully understand yet. AND as being seniors the price worked out for our budget. Gave it 4 stars as we don't have a track record as yet and when I tried to print the manual on-line , it turns out that this is a new model and the manual isn't on-line yet. We are pleased with this purchase.

I bought this tv because it was a smart tv and it is on sale. Even after reading some negative reviews I decided to purchase this. The box to set up up easy enough but when it came to getting the tv started there was the issue. I didn't plan on watching roku when I purchased the tv but apparently I needed to set up an account or I couldn't get my tv to work. It did say something about needing a credit card to open an account which I certainly did not do. Hopefully I won't have any future problems with my tv.

But kind of boo for quick set up instructions. The quick set up took me probably close to an hour...not quick and some instructions were too vague or confusing. I really do love my new TV though. We have another Smart TV in the house that does not have the integrated Roku and downloading the streaming services is so much more time consuming. I have probably spent more time in front of my new TV in the past few weeks just exploring the APPs than I have actually watching it.

I tried the insignia 32 inch version first, and though that one was good this one is better. This one has a better picture, better contrast, and better colors.

I bought this TV yesterday after reading alot of reviews and going through a few models. This was on a 1 day sale and I purchased because of the price and the roku capabilities. Installation was quick and easy and the picture quality is great. My only complaint is that the red light (power light) never turns off...even when the TV is off! This is extremely frustrating as it is in my bedroom and quite bright. I wound up putting electrical tape over the light last night but may return the TV all together if this is how it will always be.

The picture was a little better but to hear it at all from 10 ft away it had to be all the way up. then i decided to pay a little more and try this sharp tv and im glad i did perfect picture and sound

I was a little scared at first when it only picked up my wireless at 1/2 bar. I moved it about 1/2". Picked up 2 bars then connected and updated seemlysly.

Great TV if you know what you are buying

I needed a TV for my bedroom and was limited in space. I did not want to add an extra cable box nor connect anything to the TV since it was going to be wall mounted with no media storage underneath. I started looking at options and this TV was perfect for that use. Only connection necessary was the plug. For many of the negative reviews, it seems the customer did not research into what they are getting with these Roku TVs. It is simple to use and runs the Roku OS on startup. I honestly would not buy this TV if you are going to be connecting cable/dish or gaming systems, but it can work with those. If your main goal is simplicity and streaming content, then this TV is for you. The picture is good, and I chose the Sharp to get the 1080 resolution over the 720 of all of the other 32 in Roku TVs. Sound is adequate...not bad, not awesome. Navigating through the menus and apps is a little slow, but I didn't expect an awesome processor at this price point. My only gripe is that many of the apps do not work with Xfinity/Comcast subscriptions, even though you are already paying for those channels. However, that is not an issue with the actual TV, but with contractual agreements between Roku and Xfinity. I did see online that eventually there will be an app specifically for Xfinity, so hopefully that comes sooner than later and I can maximize my viewing content.

    My First Smart TV

The picture quality is great. You are able to adjust if you want it brighter, more color etc. But I'm feeling pretty frustrated right now. If you want to hook-up to the Internet you must have a wireless modem or router, or wireless access point. I'm not tech savvy, but feel like people need to be informed of these things when shopping & trying to make a decision. Also just found out my Internet connection may be too slow at 15 megabites per second (I get it for free), WISH that had been mentioned in the item description also. I do not like the remote at all, plus there seems to be NO way to bring up a program guide for your channel for the day! That bothers me more than anything else. Can't see how I can keep from having to return it. SO disappointed.
