Solid TVs for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So, both of my parents TV's crapped out on them, and they're low on money and couldn't afford new ones. I went out and bought two of these for them, and they were blown away by the picture quality of these Tvs. Very sharp crisp picture. This is worth the money everyone. They love the apps built in too, just a great TV.

wanted 32 inch smart TV with hulu and netflix
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.it was somewhat difficult to set up, for me. I am 62. It kept disconnecting from the wireless. Every night (TV in bedroom) I have to go through a system re-start to get a connection. Then it worked real slow. I have FIOS and was disappointed. I get a new wireless router from frontier and that problem was solved. Now 6 months new, it stopped getting antenna channels. Just inconsistent. One set of channels one time and another the next. I did the power re-start. and re-programmed the channels over 8 times. I bought a new antenna for $25 and that did not solve it. Now they want me to bring it in to the store. I bought it online because i am disabled. I have a Sharp 72 inch 3d in the living room and it gets the channels with an exact same antenna. 6years no problem. Will a re set to factory settings fix this? anyone know?

EASY setup

The picture is amazingly clear and 32" is perfect for our outdoor patio space. I love my gadgets and this one helped me love them even more.

Audio problem after less than 10 hours

It was great at first, but at about 10 hours of use the bass audio on the internal speakers disappeared, leaving a very tinny sound. My wife looked at me and asked "what just happened to the sound." I went through the troubleshooting steps and reset the audio, tried various modes (theater, deep bass), reset the entire TV to factory defaults, but the audio remained tinny. I plugged in some headphones and the audio was fine, so it had to be a failure in the internal amp or speakers. Best Buy took it back and I replaced it with a Samsung. I read other reviews that complained about audio problems on the 32" sets. It had nice features, but I got a lemon,

Hate it

The day the tv arrived and i tried to set it up to my cable box i couldn't, so i called them and she told me then after troubleshooting that i should return it because it seemed to be defective. I didnt want to go through the hassle so i watched my cable via the app..no biggie. NOW the thing freezes all the time for like 20 to 30 minutes. U cant even reboot. I just have to leave it there so it can do whatever eventually. Not sure if this is something the geek squad can help with since its not something i can do at will to show them. Even at this moment i am here for 33 minutes waiting for it to unfreeze and power off. I regret buying it and absolutely hate it. I should have just stuck to using a roku device.

Connection constantly drops
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV seemed like a great value for the price being that we were in the market for a Roku and a TV at the same time. Initial setup was a breeze and it worked fine for about a day. Shortly after we began getting network connection errors and low bandwidth errors. This TV is located approximately 20 feet from the router on the same floor. My Blu-ray player in the basement has no issues streaming content and that is connecting from a different floor of the house. We gave this several days trial and the problem persisted even while wi-fi throughout the house was issue-free so back to BestBuy in exchange for a better option.

Don't buy it

It started out working fine, then one day it started to shut off then come back on at random times. Soon it stopped doing this so I didn't think anything of it. Now 9 months later it started to do it again but worse. So I called Sharp because it is still under warranty. They send me to Geek Squad. Geek Squad does a "diagnostic" and claims it is the sleep settings causing this problem. If it was the sleep settings why would the TV power back on right after it shuts off? I did some research and found many others have experienced this same issue with no resolve. Some say it is a hardware issue while others say it is a software issue. Long story short I will never purchase another Sharp or Roku product again.

Not what I expected

I took it home and got it all set up and at first it worked great. When I started to use it more and more I began to notice how sluggish it is. Netflix and other applications will take forever to load and buffer. This is not an Internet problem because I have the fastest internet time warner offers. Applications constantly crash. I will press the volume button and it will sometimes take up to 30 seconds to respond. This is very disappointing because I was looking at other tv's and was going to buy an Apple TV or chromecast.

PIECE OF JUNK

Troubleshooted, reset, un-plugged and plugged back in and it just continues to "knock". Televisions aren't built the way they used to be and only last for 2 years. It's very discouraging and very annoying to have to dispose of this tv. I called Sharp and they transferred me to an abyss which was the customer service number for Best Buy! STAY AWAY from Sharp and Roku combined units.

Ceased working in 27 days

Will not come on again and we worked through all the trouble shooting criteria. It took two days and 5 separate conversations with Best Buy and Sharp to learn they will not take it back since it is over 15 days and it will cost $100 for the geek squad to "look at it and determine if if can be fixed under warranty." This is half its purchase price. Lousy product from Sharp and I am not pleased with Best Buy's response.

Good quality ROKU TV

Bit of a disappointment
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a replacement for 32 inch on short notice and Best Buy always a good choice for price and accessibility. Probably should have done more research but I thought the 1080 p was just what needed. Resolution is not all that great and after 2 days of trying all possible combination of pic adjustments not satisfied. Can't touch my Sony for picture quality. Glad I didn't go for the 43 inch model.
