We got this set up last night, and I honestly don't know why people are complaining about the sound so much. It's not that bad. We had a sound bar with our last TV, and it didn't sound as good as this one *without* a sound bar. The picture is good, and the menu/settings are pretty easy to use. My big gripe is that we wanted to use the legs (stand?) to put it on top of our dresser, but the dang thing wobbles like crazy. I took them off and tried again (reattached them), still very wobbly. I have it propped up for now, thinking about wall mounting. For the price, it's pretty dang snazzy.

After having the tv only 3 months it shuts off by itself & freezes often!

It did not hold setting information on its memory could not watch it all the time.

This TV does not connect unless you add an amazon fire stick or google streaming device.

Ok, I'm kind of surprised. We needed a TV combination for our office, as it often doubles as a playroom. I have multiple Roku devices, but having one built-in seemed ideal. (I've loved all Roku's but the 4, but that's another story). The interface from the remote, while a bit strange at first, really makes sense. Just remember when you pick the thing up to hit the HOME button. I also record our workout videos to Plex, so this one TV now works for kid videos, kid gaming system (Leap Frog), workout video player, and I've even decided to have it do triple duty as the monitor to the office computer through HDMI cable (why have more screens taking up space). It does it all, for less than one cheap computer monitor would cost. No, it probably won't be a great centerpiece for your game room and home theater. Come on, buy the right tool for the job. If you're young (I'm not) and see well, I can see it as great for a small apartment. The Roku in this device is quick enough I've had no buffering issues (wireless to a Netgear Nighthawk). No reliability issues as of 1 year of solid service. The only complaint I can come up with, it seems to tilt a little left on it's feet, which have limited function (no adjustments). It's stable, but I keep wanting to put a book under one side. Maybe it's just me.

I bought this tv for a kids room. I knew I wanted a Roku but was concerned that the “built in” kind would be low powered and laggy. I could not be more pleased with the response to navigate and load an app just as if it were an external device. I wanted a Roku because there are no favorites with app providers. Most smart tv’s are only allowed to have certain apps available to the user. Meaning an LG smart tv to does not have a deal with ABC or Disney. That means no apps. But Samsung might have some but not all. Roku just has everything. If you want Cartoon Network, Disney, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Amazon, etc. it will be there. Screen and sound quality is great for the price. I have a Wii connected and the video quality is good through the RCA jacks. I have not tried the HDMI or Cable connections.

Purchased this set to use in a bedroom at my mother in laws house for nighttime use. Sales guy tried to up sell me, but this was a great value at $149. I can use this set to stream most of the content I want to see, plus Pandora for music. Setup took 5 minutes, and another few to establish a Roku account. This is a great solution if you don’t have a cable jack in the room, although connecting the set to a cable box is a piece of cake. Picture is solid, and although several people have complained about the sound, it was perfectly acceptable and even superior to a Samsung that we have at home (and $100 less). At 720p, it won’t support blue ray or higher end picture technology, but at this price point, it is an ideal set. I’d buy again.

This tv was smarter than we ever imagined .. ha ha.. very easy set up & it offers lots of viewing options.. there are great free channels .. been watching lots of movies & documentaries without having to pay for any channels .. great picture .. very happy.

TV works fine and looks good. However, the specifications for the TV are incorrect. It is listed as having an ethernet port (and I wired it for ethernet) but the TV is wifi only. Ethernet would be better for streaming.

This is one of those things you buy and cant imagine how you lived without it before, Simply amazing best tv, best picture ive ever had!

I bought this TV today. The setup was very easy and picture quality was very good. However, I am having an issue with Netflix. Even though I uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, it was shutting off after every 3 or 4 minutes. Any idea how to solve this problem? I want to give my final verdict after solving this issue.

Great TV and great image, Roku TV works great, hundredth of shows and movies to watch. I do recommend this TV.
