DIED after Three Months
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was perfectly happy with my Sharp until the day--three months after purchase--it wouldn't turn on. After trying standard unplug/replug, disconnect/reconnect devices strategies, I Googled the problem and discovered that it's not uncommon and has been plaguing Sharp sets for years! I tried YouTube, but all "Problem Solved!" videos suggested holding down combinations of volume & channel buttons on the TV while turning it back on. One problem: this model doesn't HAVE on-set buttons; it's remote only. A friend who can solve 99 percent of my tech problems did what he could, then declared it "a brick," as in DOA. $200 down the drain. Off to buy a Samsung; here's hoping I get more than three months out of it!

Poor sound and even worse support from Sharp

Not there. Sharp stated they do not support this product only Best Buy does. I will not buy any other Sharp product. Sound is very poor. I do NOT recommend this product to anybody.

Decent Tv...short lifespan

The spot was about a half inch wide or so, no big deal. Then a skinny line appeared. Then the black spot grew and more lines appeared. Now the spot is about 2 inches wide and there is a thick black vertical line, also about 2 inches wide extending top to bottom. This tv is barely a year old. In fact, 1 year and 3 weeks. Disappointing to say the least. Buyer beware

Sound quality is horrible

We just got the Tvs today, set one up, and the volume has to be almost at 100% to even hear it. And the sound is flat. Think we'll be returning it as well as the second one I bought my daughter for Christmas.

Worst TV ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Go ahead and buy this TV if you want an app based TV that freezes at least 8-10 times an hour and doesn't actually work with apps. The Xfinity app? Freezes on every channel and the whole TV restarts. Netflix? I hope you have an hour to wait for the show to load. And this is not my internet, the TV is placed directly next to my main router and I have brand new google wifi. This TV is garbage. Sharp won't even offer any help if you ask them which says a lot about the product. Spend a little more on something else.

Awful

We contantly have issues connecting to apps, loading anything, etc. Sometimes it even takes 3-5 minutes just to get past the tv log screen when you turn it on! If it were just one of them, I’d think it was that particular tv but it’s both of them to I’m convinced the entire model is just bad. We don’t have connection issues with our fire tv and fire sticks in the rest of the house.

Very poor sound and low quality picture!

It was easy to set it up but I am sorry to say that I am not happy at all with this TV. First, the sound is very poor and low. Also, the picture has no quality, it's very dark and just bothers the vision. I tried a lot to adjust the settings to the best options to have a good picture and high volume but it was not helping... I would not recommend it to any friend. It seems that I have to return it.

Warranty

One day it accidentally fell and to a stupid discovery Sharp DOES NOT offer any sort of manufacturers warranty, not 1 year, not half a year, nothing. Sharp offers ZERO protection whatsoever. Already emailed them.

This TV is a bust! Save your money

Once I FINALLY get it off of that it works for a little while and then goes back to the flashing screens. It was a WASTE of my HARD EARNED MONEY!!

Buy something else

Worked well in the beginning but now it will lose connection for no reason. All other devices are connected but this will go in/out constantly. Going back for something better.

Terrible!!
