I gave it 3 stars only because the remote is the ONLY way to select menu. After turning it on, you must use the remote that came with it to select TV, DVD, or menu before you can watch TV. If you loose it or something goes wrong with it you are screwed. I can control everything else with universal remote. Outside of that, great TV.
