Ok so I purchased the tv because of its sale price. But I'm glad I did, even though its not a smart tv or 4k uhd tv it serves it purpose and has great sound along with very crisp and vibrant picture. I'm glad with my purchase. If I had to purchase another tv I would definitely purchase it again and/or stay within the Sharp Family.

it is for my bedroom so 40" is perfect size. the set up was easy and the picture is very good. the rep that assisted me was extremely helpful and I would recommed this TV for the price (again I wasn't looking for bells and whistles on a bedroom TV) and the Best Buy team

Dropped the cable box, needed to plug the basic cable in for basic channels. I was able to preset channels which makes navigating a list easy. Plus the added 3 hdmi ports makes adding external sources (roku & Fire TV Stick very handy) About a third of the weight of the old plasma, easy to hang on the wall

This tv was purchased for my daughter to use in the bedroom. It was easy to set up and has a wonderful picture. She has a 4K in the living room and she actually prefers this one for the picture quality. Totally happy with everything about the product and would purchase it again. Price was great also!

I needed a replacement tv, and was happy not only with the price but the quality. I had been using 720p tv's, and moving up to 1080 was a big difference. The size suits me well too. I did not buy a smart tv, but I don't needed it either. As long as that's not a criteria, this is a good tv to get.

This Sharp 40 inch TV really has a great picture and a real deal at the price. It is hands down better than the Vizio I replaced. The sound quality is very good and the controls on the remote are all that is needed. I wall mounted it and it is good viewing from many angles! Would buy again!

I needed a new TV in a hurry. Xfinity was at my house installing service. My old TV was not 1080. While the installer was there, I ran out to Best Buy and bought this TV on sale. The installer installed the Sharp is it is great! Also works well with the Xfinity voice remote. I'm very satisfied.

This TV was on sale and therefore much cheaper than any other 40" TV available at Best Buy. Nothing super fancy about this particular model, but quite adequate for a gaming monitor. Good picture and adequate response time. Can't say much about the speakers as we use a separate sound system using the audio out port.

To get a quality brand LCD 1080P 40" T.V. for less than $220.00 and delivered free to my granddaughter's house was an excellent deal. It was easy to get up and running and my granddaughter loves it. When I am in need of a new TV I will be coming back to Best Buy first to make my purchase.

I purchased this tv on sale for $199 to replace an older one in my bedroom. The picture quality is really good. The sound is nothing special but that's not unusual for this type of tv. I like that it has 3 HDMI inputs and a USB input as well. So far I am very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this TV after reading the reviews. For the price of this TV it's hard to beat. Pretty slim profile and very light TV that has good picture and sound. Like the other reviews state, there is no digital audio out but I'm not hooking mine up to a soundbar so that's not a concern for me.

TV's have greatly improved over the years, just like cars. This Sharp tv was an easy set up. Took about 10 minutes. My requirements are simple, good picture, good sound, simple controls. Plus, I used a $10 rewards point coupon for additional savings. Watch the sales each week, you can't lose.

I bought this 40 inch LED 1080p Sharp HDTV when it was on sale for $200. I had a $5 Reward Zone and a $50 gift card that I used. This TV replaced my 22" Insignia LCD/LED TV I had in my room (which I used for the kitchen). So far, this TV exceeds my expectations and I have no issues with it.

After researching online, I purchased this set because is was 1080 HDTV 40" on sale. I love this TV! We use it in my kid's bedroom. Picture is perfect and the sound is louder and clearer than I expected. Easy setup also.

We bought this as an open box item to save a couple $. The size and picture are excellent! We have a slight issue with the sound though. It cuts out randomly whether it's on tv, Apple TV, or DVD. Thought it might be our sound bar but it still occurs when the sound bar is off. A little annoying but you adjust.

I purchased this Sharp LED tv for my boathouse I use on the weekends. There is no available cable or internet service, so used a very low quality HD Digital antenna and the picture is clear and crisp than my Smart LED TV at home which has Longview Kilgore Cable. Great buy for the buck!

Great quality, nice bright brilliant colors, great price. Definitely a quality Sharp product. I've had Sharp tv's for years when the "linitron plus" tv's came out back in the 70's. Now these new tv's are not nothing like the tv's of today, but Sharp still makes a great quality product!!

This TV had no problems and was easy to set up. The only issue I had was they did not send me the bolts that screw in to attach the legs to the stand. This was a minor inconvenience since I can go pick those up from Lows. If it was not for that small issue I would have rated this experience as 5 stars.

The television is a good size and quality for the price. The only concern I have is the sound. The speakers sound somewhat airy and distant. it looks like the sound bar is on the front but there's a distance to the sound that sets it off. Maybe paired with a sound bar or surround system and it's golden.
