Great product for the price. Couldn't find a better deal elsewhere. It was exactly what I needed. Good picture with a rich black and sharp quality.

I bought this for use in a sales booth to demo software. It works great, has great color, and is easy to transport due to it being so lightweight.

Always liked Sharp TV. Ordered it online and picked up in local store same day. Very happy with the price and picture quality of the TV.

My elderly parents needed a new television, and they didn't need any "smart" features. The Sharp fit the bill perfectly. It's got simple, intuitive controls and plenty of inputs. What really surprised me,however, is how truly good the picture is. Black levels are far better than on my Samsung LED TV and colors are rich and deep. Sound is also quite good from the built-in speakers, and the "surround sound" adjustment actually kinda works. Unless you demand window-busting sound from your TV the builtin speakers are more than enough. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

A couple of months ago I bought a flat screen TV at Best Buy. It wasn't connected to the cable correctly, so I decided to do it myself. Trying to get the TV off the wall, the corner hit the wall and the internal screen looked like lightning struck it! So, I had to buy another TV. Best Buy didn't have the same TV in stock so I bought the 40" Sharp HDTV instead. It was the same price as the 1st one, but it is a much better quality and the colors are perfect. I am really enjoying my TV and would not hesitate to buy it again.

Greatl little TV. Easy to set up and looks and sounds great. Installed in guest room strictly for gaming but added an HD antenna just for whatever. Not sure why people are complaining about sound quality unless they're putting it in an enormous room or just have lousy acoustics in their house. Like others have said, take it back and get a pricier TV or buy a sound bar. Can't beat this TV for the price. I recommend!

Its a tv;) its 40 inches sharp is one of the top 10 for tv brands, isnt a samsung but good tv for the price of a 40in reliable brand

I needed a new TV at really short notice, with a while to wait until payday. This was a bargain - good size screen, easy to set up within minutes.

Made a great choice with this tv purchase. I was looking for at least a 40 inch, non-smart tv. Read some reviews and they were mostly positive so made the jump. Very happy I did. The picture looks nice while gaming on my XB1 and the sound is perfect as well-I don't have a sound bar. It gets loud when i want it to be, but usually around the 12-18 range I can hear it with no problems. I would buy this tv again, and definitely would recommend buying this tv if on a budget and don't need/want a smart tv.

highly affordable tv. it was a gift for my mom and she really enjoyed it. great picture quality and best for a budget tv.

The tv was really easy to set up and the picture is great. I did add some Bose speakers just because of my preference for sound.

This tv was purchase for living room. Great picture not heavy to move about 20 pounds, great size and 3 hdmi input is a plus.

I was looking for the best TV for under $200 and was walking to the register with a 32" model from another brand when I saw a stack of these Sharp 40" TV's on sale for $199. I had a CRT Sharp TV years ago which worked out great so I decided to get this TV without even testing it out since they had none on display at the store. I was very happy with the purchase and recommend this TV highly if you are looking for a "non-Smart" TV like I was. Great sound, picture, good remote and 3 HDMI ports.

Replacement for the RCA in living room. Great picture and sound. Hookup very simple. Blu-Ray playback has nice picture.
