Walked into store, looked at the product, viewed the display. Liked the product and features and bought it right there.

For the money it is ok. Picture quality is ok but the sound is terrible. If your using as your primary TV think twice.

I love this tv looks classy but is very durable maintains good balance and has amazing 4K

The color is not satisfactory even with lots of adjustments. The image is not sharp, more like 720 dpi.

i purchased this tv for a bedroom unit. I have had three previous Sharp TVs and i hoped this Sharp tv would live up to the quality and reputation that I have known. it did not even come close. upon closer research from other consumers, I find that this was a Hisense hdtv rebranded as Sharp. I returned this unit and replaced it with a Insignia.

this was a good buy and worked as stated, good color.

An ever present burning plastic smell made it hard to use.

Had a Sharp TV before and it was a great TV, so went with this one. Easy to hookup, not a bad picture but would not connect with the cable box all the time. Had to use both remote controls. Returned in the end.

The different viewing options aren't good quality and are too small. This is not a smart tv. So no apps available(ie: Netflixs, Hulu, Youtube...). Volume is terribly low.

I ordered online. It came with a cracked screen. I requested a replacement which also came with a damaged screen. Beyond that, I can't comment on the quality.

Had to return tv due to volume control not working. Sound varied channel to channel. Sometimes no sound, sometimes had sound, sometimes in between. Not good!

Surprised? As was I..!! The first Sony I purchased had a bad port where the adapter goes up into the TV, which was very annoying. And at times would just fall out..since it was defying gravity. The second one was fine until about 3 days after I purchased it. A red line was running vertically on the left side of the TV...I actually had to go up and tap the TV in order to get it to go away. So then a week went by and it had 3 horizontal green lines going across the bottom. Bad panel? Yep. I've had a Vizio for 8 years and have never had a single issue with it. So I decided to stay simple. Saw this on sale for 219$ and thought, why not? Pretty stellar reviews, and Sharp I think have always been a bit underrated. Well I was right, got this home, hooked it up, and no problems. Tweaked the TV to my liking, just like the Vizio and the picture looks great. I have a 360, XB1 and PS4 and I can hook them all up at the same time because this unit has 3 HDMI ports, not 2, like the Sony did. Also the Sony needed constant adjusting to get a decent picture. And even after that it was clear, but the colors were just to painted, and processed looking. Not natural at all, no matter how you adjusted it. Also it had the worst viewing angle of any TV I've ever seen. The Sharp is basic and that's just what I needed, good (accurate) natural colors, and single button for Game Mode which is great!! And overall the TV is just built much better. Doesn't feel flimsy at all. Also no smart features (or a motherboard) inside like all the new tech today for it to "go bad". Half the reason people have so many problems today is because they put way to much technology in televisions today. A lot of people just want to watch it, plug and play etc. If you want no frills with a great picture for a cheap price, definitely get this. I review a lot of electronics, and I would never steer someone in the wrong direction. Or to get something I wouldn't purchase myself. So get this before they're gone. Great TV!

I purchased this TV after having a bad experience buying a TV from Walmart. This TV finally gave me that new TV feeling that had been cheated out of me the day before. The picture quality was great, it was very easy to set up, and very easy to navigate through settings and options. The TV speakers were okay but I easily set up my sound bar through the TV's settings. I would recommend this over any 40" smart TV. I have a $30 chromecast which basically turns this TV into a smart TV instead of spending an extra $80-$100 for the same functions. Thanks BestBuy and Sharp for a great experience.

The screen has a 1 inch wide vertical line in the center of the screen and it does not go away. Very frustrated.

I took this tv back and got the LG because the speakers were horrible

It's a replacement tv. I have not even taken out of box yet.

Speakers are weak,can barely hear at maximum output.

Model: LC-40LB480U 40" Sharp TV. There's better TVs for sure but not for anywhere near this price ($200). True the sound could be better but you can say that about most flat panel TV's. It comes with a digital optical audio connection so It would be easy to add a sound bar although I'm just using this in a bedroom so the sound is more than adequate for me. Great picture and bright screen. That's all I was looking for. This replaced an older HD TV and you can sure see the difference in quality. Easy and quick setup. Pretty decent tuner because I'm just using an indoor antenna and it picks up more stations than previous TV. Nice easy to use basic remote. Note: Someone said this was not really a Sharp TV but I disagree. It came in a Sharp box, has the Sharp name on it, and I registered the TV on the Sharp website and downloaded the manual with no problem. Perhaps the person claiming it was not a Sharp TV bought an open box TV and someone dropped in the wrong TV.
