Returning due to bad color

I have been through every menu level and every color setting on this TV, and there is no way to correct its color. My brain sees LED white / blue / magenta every time I look at it. The back light is glaringly TOO BRIGHT, and can't be sufficiently dimmed. The colors are WASHED OUT. The WHITES ARE PINKISH, and if you try to turn down the brightness, they are MAROON! There's no way to stop this. The tint remains cool to the point of cold, and blue / red regardless of all attempts to adjust it. The picture always looks flat and lacks texture and depth. This TV would never be mistaken for a Samsung. Or even a Westinghouse. Also, the commercials are blaring loud, and I did not find any setting that adequately turns the commercials' volume down to match the TV programs. Definitely not what I expected with a brand name like Sharp, but it just goes to show that manufacturers will stick any acquired brand name on any TV regardless of whether or not it meets any reasonable quality standard. This TV is getting returned just as soon as I can get a day off from work to pack it back up and haul it back to the store. Very disappointed with this purchase, Best Buy. And I paid cash for it, too.

impossible to get set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.remote does not work well. 1/3 of TV covered with some kind of function that will not go away with any of the buttons. requires two remotes to make it work.very bad decision to buy this tv.. have no idea from anything in the box how to get help with it

Returned in two days...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I knew that this was a "value" purchase, but I wasn't expecting such a bad experience. The unit experienced a fair amount of 'ghosting' as scenes switched. Worse off, the sound was HORRENDOUS. Tinny, no depth, lousy bass. I spent hours trying to tune the sound, and finally gave up. I wanted this to work for us, but ended up returning the unit and replacing with a Samsung.

Bad Experiance

Tried with cable box and cable direct to wall, TV Input settings are correct . Not technically challenged, had someone else look at it too. Didnt get back to best buy within 15 days - stuck with a non working TV and waiting for Sharp to answer my email - There phone support kept me waiting far longer than the automated reply stated so I give up

Bad customer service dont stand behind there produ
