I jumped at buying this before researching. The TV opens to a Roku menu and can't default to the cable input (Most annoying). Also there is no audio output other than headphones. I have it hooked up to my stereo and must have it on in order to hear anything. If it had an audio out, I could listen to the speakers and stereo if I wanted. The picture is okay. I have it in my garage, so I'll live. That's the only reason that I haven't returned it.

    Great Budget TV

I've only owned the TV for a week, so I can't comment on how it will stand the test of time. However, I am very impressed out of the box. The picture is vivid with good color reproduction after playing with the Advanced Settings a bit. The backlight through most of the screen is very good, but does dim a bit in the corners. You will not notice it until a single colored background is being displayed. Slightly darker or slightly brighter corners are par for the course in a budget TV, so if it bothers you a lot, you'll need to move up in price. With the negative being out of the way, there are a lot of positives. The Roku integration is very nice and ensures that anyone can use the TV without fumbling with two remotes or learning a universal remote. The UI is about as fast as a Roku 3, and it connects to Wi-Fi very quickly. The set takes a very long time to scan for channels, but once it's done, the picture is clear and the information banner at the bottom is very nice. The Roku integration means you'll get many apps that are not available on most Smart TVs like WatchESPN, HBO Go, and FXNow, for example. The interface is easy to use and much better than anything else on the market. If you are looking for a top end TV, this is not it. If you are looking for a very capable TV, with good color reproduction, a great smart TV interface, good for gaming (does support HDMI-CEC for auto input switching), and the best bang for your buck, this is it. I would buy a 65" 120hz version of this TV in an instant. Make it happen, Sharp.

Great price & picture. Eliminates excess devices!

I love this TV! It was actually a bit of an impulse buy. I came in to purchase a smaller TV for my guest room and instead I decided to put the master bedroom TV in the guest room and buy this one as an upgrade for myself! (After all, why should the newest TV in the house be in a room that's hardly used?) I LOVE it! Great sharp picture and saturated colors (almost as good as plasma...) and the Roku built in is so convenient. With a few clicks, you can connect to anything as long as your internet speed is good. The price is fantastic when you consider that a gaming console that serves a similar function in terms of its apps (Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, etc.) costs more than this TV with built in Roku. If you aren't a gamer, this is the one for you! No extra cords, no streaming devices to plug in and all your apps available. Ideal for a bedroom, where you probably want to minimize excess cords and devices. Took five minutes or less to attach the feet and get it set up.

    Great Roku TV

This 43" 1080p Roku Tv is just fantastic. I was a little hesitant because this screen is brand new and has just reached Best Buy stores, so there weren't a lot of reviews. But the price was right and the Roku features have so much value for your money. Whether you are streaming or purchasing movies and shows, it's as simple as connecting to your wireless network, and you have a world of entertainment at your fingertips. Switching between game consoles and other devices is a breeze, and the user interface is simple and responsive. You can even use your smart phone as a remote and keyboard for typing using the Roku app. Finally, the picture quality is top notch. Games and blu ray movies look amazingly sharp and clear, and the colors are vibrant. Do yourself a favor and check out this smart tv if you are in the market for one, you really can't go wrong with this set.

I was looking at the Samsung's until a Best Buy worker pointed this one out. Noticing the price for the size I was kind of sold and its a step up from a 32", also I was excited about the Roku integration. I didn't have a ton of expectations, but, brought it home, plugged it in and setting up was easy (which really made my night). Really stoked on the purchase and the picture is great! Can't wait to watch NHL games on it. If you're looking for a TV on a budget, or a great price, this is certainly your buy.

Good TV, especially for this price range

First off let me say that I dont pay for cable TV. I am a roku user and I mainly watch TV though Netflix and Amazon Prime. It have saved me a ton of money over the years and I would reccomend a roku to anyone who wants to drop their cable TV subscription but still watch their favorite programs (if you are big into watching live sports you may be stuck with a subscription, I haven't found a way around that). When I found out there was a roku TV I talked the little lady into getting one for the bedroom, and We are both very happy with it. The picture is crisp and the colors are vibrant. There are two things I like best about this TV. The first is the price. I have not seen a better TV in this price range. If you dont already have a roku box then this TV saves you like another 50-80 bucks. The other thing I really like about this TV is the remote and roku interface. Other smart TVs have an interface that feels clunky and difficult to use. This interface is very easy to maneuver. I also like that because of the roku interface I now only have one remote that operates both the TV and the roku. I have read other reviews that have complained about the TV dropping the wireless signal. I have had the TV for a month and it has yet to drop a wireless signal. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good TV at a lower price range.

    Great Choice!

I am really pleased with this TV - amazingly easy to set up, great picture and performance and I really like the Roku! I haven't had cable in more than 5 years so I am very familiar with streaming services and use them across multiple devices, but somehow it is even simpler on the Roku. And there are A LOT of great options for people who don't have cable - so many channels to choose from, many free, and lots of services (like news and weather) that streaming can't fill in for. I had originally intended to buy something no bigger than 32", but this TV was such a great deal, looked amazing and great features. I usually get really nervous around large purchases and tend to obsess and torture myself before finally making a decision which leads to second guessing and worrying I made a dumb decision. None of that with this TV - from seeing it on the display wall to seeing it on my wall, I have only found more reasons to be happy with my purchase

    Would Not Buy Again

My only review for this tv is how I wish I had not purchased it. Within 2 weeks out of the box the tv had issues turning off where it would just freeze in the "Powering Off" screen. Then it would not turn on until it had rebooted 2 to 3 times. Netflix has issues with no sound 1 in 4 times I connect. And finally, just today it went on a 6 attempt reboot cycle. After removing the power cord and attempting to turn it on again it took an additional 5 reboots before it finally arrived at the home screen. I would have to say it may be more an issue with the Roku TV as the Insignia 50" 4K Roku TV I purchased is exhibiting the same behavior. In the future I believe it is better to spend the extra money and get a more reliable brand.

We found this tv very difficult to set up (we aren't incompetent when it comes to tech things). But the worst part of it was the picture pixelated which really bothered us. We ended up putting it out n our quick serve restaurant as a second, little-watched tv.

    TV Died in 5 months

At first worked great. Then slowly started to act super funny. First the WIFI stopped working. Figured, we wasn't using it at the time so possibly a fluke. Then in the past month the tv randomly would shut off. It wasn't the auto-shut off settings either as it would shut off after 1 minute, 10 minutes, 30 minutes etc. Now the TV is crashing at trying to find WIFI hot spot upon inital setup after resetting the TV. Tried resetting many times and same thing. It will hang looking for a wifi signal, FREEZE, CRASH, and reboot and do it all over in this endless loop. This is terrible. Only SHARP TV in the house, would not recommend Sharp to anyone. LG or Toshiba.
