Amazing TV for an amazing price!

I've only had this TV for about day, so I can't comment on the long run. Out of box, I am extremely impressed. This is my first Smart TV and it was incredibly easy to set up, the instructions were very clear. After the instructions it gives a little tutorial on how to use the remote and the TV itself, which I thought was a nice touch for people who might not be the most technologically advanced. The TV design is very sturdy and solid without being too heavy or clunky, and the picture once you get it up and running is stunning. The remote is small, but the buttons are large and easy to press without being too "squishy" as some remotes go. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It is a steal at this price.

I don't like how long it takes for the TV to turn on. I also don't like always having to chose what option for the input, I'd rather it resume based on the last time it was used.

I bought this the day before Thanksgiving and the price was cheaper than what I would have paid on Black Friday. The picture is beautiful and clear, sound is very loud, when I have the tv volume on 8 I can hear it downstairs in the kitchen. Setup was quick and easy and I was watching Netflix in less than 6 minutes of plugging the tv in. I am very happy with this tv.

I was shopping for a smart tv, and not all smart tvs have HBO Go. I was excited to see that Roku lets you download apps - meaning you can watch everything: Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, Amazon Video, ABC, NBC, PBS, etc. You can log into these with existing accounts, including a cable account, meaning you can really watch anything. The screen size is great, sound is great, and it was really easy to set up. Love it!

Got this TV on an open box special. The picture kept cutting out on me while watching TV or movies. Returned to the store for a replacement but ended up switching to a Insignia model.

This did not meet my needs - it seems to be too focused on Roku and less on television. If you are looking for a good overall smart tv this is not it.

Just got this tv today. This is my first roku smart TV. This TV is not the slimmest but it has a modern design. It has a good picture quality and it's very easy to set up. I don't think you can configure the picture settings though which is a downside for me. You can only adjust it's brightness. Will keep this tv for a week and and decide if I'm keeping it or not or replacing it with the sharp non roku one. I'm satisfied with my purchase though, just the lack of settings is a deal breaker for me. Also I'm concerned about the updates regarding tvs software. But since it's supported by Roku I hope they get decent software updates.

First off id give this a perfect rating, but we have ran into a couple issues, one being the screen sometimes being super fractured and showing tons of lines across the screen when turning on the tv. (has happened 3x in 2) only way to fix it is unplug the cord and let it reboot everything again. Other than that problem, we love its picture quality, list of features and slime size. it looked clearer on HD than the LG and Samsung tv's sitting next to it.

    Excellent Smart TV Option

Wow, here I was comparing other Smart TV's and other solutions such as the Apple TV, etc. Considering this has Roku built in, it's an outstanding value and convenience without having to connect another system and using additional remotes. Picture quality is really good, having some apps right on my TV is really convenient without having to spend another $100 on a "box" to do this. Roku seems to develop faster and smoother to use than the competitors "Smart TV's".

I think this is a pretty good tv for the price! It has a good picture & was easy to set up! The only problems I have with it are the volume & remote. When the tv is turned on, it doesn't go directly to cable. Thus, I have to use 2 remotes! That's inconvenient! I'm hard hearing & have to crank the volume almost to max to hear it comfortabley. My last tv was set about half volume, with plenty to spare. Other than these 2 problems, I'm tickled pink with the set.

We didn't even have the TV for 7 months before the color board went out in it. Took it back to the store because it was still under manufacturer warranty, part was ordered, and installed but still didn't work. Will not buy this TV again!

Great lag time, no ethernet, good picture quality

From CNET: "Nobody is going to place the Sharp Roku TV at the top of any image quality lists, but it's still likely "good enough" for most viewers. It delivered accurate color, decent contrast and exactly the level of video processing I expected. Bright room and uniformity performance were par for the course, as was sound quality." The also cite a "great" lag time of around 30ms, so good for our PS3 FIFA 16. The remote is tiny and cute, and the Roku TV's apps are good, except for CNBC, which pales versus the CNBC for AppleTV with only a tiny selection of videos. Also no ethernet was a surprise. Personally I agree the picture quality is definitely lower than my beautiful 50 inch Bravia, but it really is "good enough". My sons use it as a game tv in the basement. I had a hard time between this one and a no frills LG, but glad I got Roku. It is more fun. Recommended.

Very good picture, but on-board Roku...not so much

I am a long time Roku 3 user and was excited to see it integrated into TV's nowadays. Two problems with the built-in Roku on this TV: 1. I think they are using an older Roku engine. The menus and just moving between anything is painfully slow. The actual streaming is fine though. 2. and this is a bigger issue. the ONLY picture setting you can change when you are using on-board Roku is brightness..that's it. not good. I installed a Roku 3 and fed HDMI to the TV. I can set the advanced picture settings and there are a fair number, to get a great picture, and the picture is great. I am astounded at the quality picture you can get for $319. Now, let's not go crazy. This picture is not in the same league as high-end final generation plasmas from Panasonic or Samsung, which I also have, but for our workout area in the basement, it is fantastic.
