Needed a new tv for the bedroom and after a lot of research bought the Sharp 43 inch 4k ultra HD 2160 LED tv. It had a beautiful picture. It made the tv in our living room look awful in comparison for about 12 days. My husband turned it on to watch some football and the picture was bright red. Don't know what happened but Best buy was awesome got my full refund and bought a new LG fingers crossed this time.

It's a cheap TV I guess you get what you pay for it's okay for my mother-in-law in the back bedroom but personally it from myself who likes to watch lots of sports I would just take it back to the store and upgrade

I purchased three of the sharp 43 inch tv's in the same day 2 years ago. One month after I purchased them one of the tv's began emitting a very loud popping sound and would show snow on-screen. This happened EVERY time I turned the tv on.
Now the remote control for one of them won't work unless I replace the batteries with fresh ones-weekly. This is no exaggeration. I will never purchase this brand again!

I purchased this set a few days ago. This is the first 4K TV I've owned. Most of the source content I have is max resolution of 1080P. I had convinced myself I didn't need a 4K TV but it was on sale so I bought it. The picture can safely be described as "Wow!".
We've had Roku boxes all over our home for a few years. I was concerned that the 'Smart' functions in the TV would be underwhelming, clunky and slow because my other 'smart' TVs have had clunky menus and slow processors. I'm happy to report the built-in Roku on this TV is every bit as speedy as the latest Roku I own, the Premiere +. I have Netflix, Amazon, NHL Network and Plex. These services all work great and look great. If you're presently a Roku owner, you'll like the way the single Roku remote works to operate this TV.
Setup was a breeze. I was prompted for my Wifi information though I could have used the built-in wired ethernet. I already have a Roku account. Once I provided that information, the Roku updated itself with all of the channels I already use.
I am not as happy with the audio options. This TV replaces a TV that died in our bedroom. The old TV sounded MUCH better than this new one. This has been a disappointment in other newer televisions I've purchased. The built-in speakers are tiny and therefore sound performance is lacking. The speakers face backward toward the wall. I don't understand why they can't use a larger diameter speaker to make it sound better. It does get plenty loud but the low-frequencies are simply not there. Additionally, my external Roku allowed headphones to be plugged into the remote so I could watch TV without disturbing anyone. Sadly, that feature is not available with this built-in Roku.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this television so far. If I was inclined to fuss about technical specs, I suppose I could find something bad. However, the TV looks and works great. If that's what you want, you can buy this one with confidence.

I've got great respect for Sharp TVs but this one rolled over just two months after the 1 year warranty expired. There is a known reported problem with either one of the internal boards or one of the LED strips in back of the screen wigging out which causes part of the screen to flash and loose picture and or color. Resetting to factory defaults did nothing.
Too bad for Sharp on this marginal product when they make such great TVs, usually.

Haven’t tried any 4K entertainment but it isn’t bad. The look of it (excluding video) is nice. I do wish it had more options throughout the menu interface.

Not a big fan, I ended up having to buy another TV for basically the same price. The quality sucks and the internet connectivity always give out. I don't know why it says 4K when it simply doesn't offer it. I had to reset my tv several times because it won't load or it wont connect to the internet. Buy this TV if you own a business and just want to like stream TV. But not worth for a average consumer.

Bought this TV a few months back as an extra for a spare bedroom. Since getting this TV, I've barely put much of any hours of watch time to estimate it at about 2-4 hours a week on average.
The first issue I've had with this TV is that some of the apps would randomly stop streaming while others would work just fine. This has nothing to do with my internet speed (which is more than what I need for streaming) as again other apps would work just fine. To fix this issue I would have to delete the affected apps and reinstall them to get them to stream/work the way they should.
The second issue that revealed itself is on 2 occasions I would have to enter my router's wireless info as for whatever reason the TV did not retain the information. No factory resets were performed on this TV to explain why this would be. I had to finally hardwire the TV via ethernet to maintain a steady network connection, which is better anyway.
Finally, today while doing some work with the TV on in the background it suddenly lost power. Everything else on that surge protector worked fine and had no issues. I took the TV to different outlets just to make sure and it WILL not power on! Needless to say I COMPLETELY regret buying this TV. The initial issues though annoying I could manage. With it now completely losing power I'm done. I can't say outright that this is an issue with Sharp's quality, but I cannot recommend this TV based on all the issues I've had.

Right out of the box things don't seem right. Bright blue lines across the entire screen everytime it turns on. The speakers are in the back and no matter what setting you use, noise always drowns out the voices. Can never understand whats being said. The picture is always too dark and the reds overwhelm. No matter the adjustments made. My suggestion, spend a little more and go with lg or samsung. These were made specifically for best buy and aren't any better than insignia or Hisense.
