    I am disappointed in this TV, as the picture is blurry and fuzzy. However, it is past the deadline to return it. I've tried all the fine-tuning adjustments many times, making the picture slightly better, but it is still not satisfactory. My twelve-year-old TV has a much better picture.

    I brought the TV on JAN 20, 2018 for my Mother and it died on Nov 1, 2018. I took it back to Best Buy and of course they had to send it off for repair. I would expect a new TV to last longer than 10 months. The one good thing it was still on manufacturer warranty.

    Picture quality not good. For the tv to be a smart tv you must pay extra to activate roku. If you try to veiw tv with out the apps or roku about every two minutes on the left side of the scree you get a roku advertisement.

    This UHD 4K 43" TV is great! The second Sharp I paid around $315 to own. Amazing PQ on both. Having had a Sony XBR CRT years ago, so PQ is a must and this set has it, so does my other Sharp FHD. Let me clear up some previous items. There is a physical power button, it's by the light at lower left under the TV which means you can turn off and on without the remote. Also the sound I find fine, we have the TV in a wall unit and the sound projects fine in the room (no need for a soundbar) As for the Roku TV... Pretty sweet, easy set-up and you can customise the icons and additional ones if you need or remove some. Any input you need can be added to the Roku home screen. You get a nice live preview w/sound, for instance, HDMI1 (I relabeled Cable TV) can see whats playing. Makes me happy I waited on ROKU or other streamers. Seems in 2017 they are fast enough and worked the kinks out. For years I had a few Sony streamers I found for $15... nice to have streaming built into the TV and one less remote to lose. Another cool feature is it supports Miracast and allowed me to easily wirelessly project my Surface Pros to the screen with full HD. It also allowed Continuum on my Lumia 950 to wirelessly project. It also has ETHERNET so I easily hardwired the connection. A very nice touch. USB too. For those who have not owed Roku, my first time too. Here is what you get. A great interface it puts tiles for all the streaming content. So things like Amazon, Netflix, Hulu and... others you can add such as YouTube, CBS All-Access, Pluto TV and the music streams Pandora, iHeart etc. The setup is easy you simply go to the website and type in your code displayed on the new TV... as for individual sites you may have to do the same usually, the TV will tell you a code to join it to things like Amazon Prime, Streaming. For TNT or similar it'll need your cable account.... In a few minutes, you can be all set up. The remote is nice, no voice input but its comfortable and small with a slightly rubberized texture. Watching shows it's apparent the extra dynamic range as all colors are so deep and true. People say you cant tell the difference from FHD, I disagree we have this TV about 10 feet away and the UHD makes a big difference plus its clearer closer as there are no pixels. In 2017 if you are not getting both 4K and UHD you are missing out IMO. 60 FPS is not as good as some other sets. I watched some NFL games to check if there was any lag, It looked fine. Bottom line: Sharp makes great TV's, in 2017 UHD and 4K are "must-haves". For $300-400 if this is the size you need for your space (38 inches across) it's hard not to absolutely love this TV and its overall package.

    The picture is not very sharp, even while watching Blu-rays. The picture was also very dark at times with no adequate way of adjusting the brightness. I love Roku and was hoping this would be a convenient way to upgrade to 4K HD along with freeing up an electric socket. I was very disappointed.

    Screen broken out of the box. Called Sharp customer service and was advised the warranty did not cover broken screens. This was a gift and the recipient did not open the box until Jan 2020.

    this has been VERY DISAPPOINTING. the TV can rarely connect to my high speed internet, and when it does, it drops the connection in the middle of a program. Roku support is terrible. I would return this TV if I could......

    TV wouldn’t connect to internet. Tech came to house to repair. Couldn’t repair and ordered part. Said he’d be back the following week. The part arrived at my house ... repairman never to be seen again!!!

    Roku plan is a required plan purchase for this tv. I had cable & didn’t require a Roku plan but couldn’t set my tv with out the purchase. I returned the tv & purchased a non-Roku Tv.

    I bought this TV as open box but approved by Geek Squad. When I had it set up, I noticed there was a scratch on the screen. I feel the scratch should have been caught by the Geek Squad.

    The picture quality and sound are A-1. That part I give 5 stars to. The down side is that for some odd reason the Sharp people decided to NOT put any power or control buttons on the set itself and you are entirely at the mercy of the remote. It's a Roku remote and I'm buying a backup but having no on/off button on the set is ridiculous. Luckily the remote is cheap. The Roku is easy to set up and I use my cable service primarily. Be aware that after you set up the Roku and pick some channels you will get a tidal wave(s) of spam because each "free" channel demands your email. Maybe use an alternative email. I'm not taking the TV back unless it messes up in the first few months while in warranty but I would not have bought it had I noticed it was totally remote control operated. But a very good deal for the money. Spent $200 less than I was planning for the size and quality I wanted.
