Interesting how the other people who wrote reviews are misleading. It totally under performs what the others said. Just remember you get what you pay for! I wouldn't suggest buying this until you listen to other units. Unfortunately I purchased it online and trusted the reviews. I'll give it to my granddaughter.

Took it to the Geek Squad and the guy said it couldn't happen. Took it home, dismantled the machine and there was the disc, Like an idiot, I bought another and the same thing happened within a couple weeks. This time, a Geek Squad guy was able to get the disc out and noted the problem and said it couldn't be fixed Bottom line: DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM UNDER AY CIRCUMSTANCES.

I bought the Sharp 5 disc Micro System from Best Buy on December 3rd, 2022 as a Christmas gift for my wife. The remote stopped working in March of 2023. I called Sharp support and they told me the remote only has a 30 day warranty and I would have to pay $58.00 to replace it. That is ridiculous!! I have never had a remote control go bad in my life! I am done buying Sharp products!
