    Sound quality lacking

    Was excited to get this system to play my CDs but the sound quality is lacking. Bass and Xbass is almost non existant.

    Not a good unit

    I had this unit for a couple years and all was fine. Then all of a sudden it would go from the AM/FM station to Bluetooth all by itself. It would also turnoff by itself. Contacted Sharp and they could not help. Unplugged and plugged back in. same thing continues. And this happens everyday.

    Switches to Bluetooth constantly and randomly

    The system was great when I bought it, but it started randomly turning on and switching to bluetooth after a year. Now it's essentially non-functional because all it does to switch to Bluetooth after 5 minutes of doing literally anything else.

If the unit changes to Bluetooth is not because it is defective or malfunctioning, this unit has NFC (Near Field Communication), this was added to the stereo to simplify the pairing method of the Bluetooth connectivity, if you do not want this to happen, please disable the Bluetooth on your smart devices and the NFC as well.     I purchased thisprocduct twice..the first one had problems with the fm radio cutting out..I thought it was a one off..so returned it and bought a second one..it was what I wanted,a multi disc player/fm radio combo.. .they're hard to find..The second one had the same problems only worse..the sound cutting out and the cd player didn't work at all! Returned both! Do not buy!!

    Mute button on remote stopped working after six months. Sixty dollars to replace. This is not acceptable. Do not buy this, poor craftsmanship - bad replacement policy.

    Stay away

    System did not conform to instructions provided. Would not play 5 disks in random function. Played on disk at a time only. Decided to get rid of it at Goodwill. Would not recommend system.

    Doesn't work-right out of the box

    Brought it home from Best Buy. Took my old system out, set this one up and NOTHING. Oh, it opened for me to load the CDs but then just sits at 0:00. I tried the FM radio. No sound. I should have heeded the advice of the one star ratings, but was sucked in.

    Operational manual is not a manual. It is a great a ridiculous giant sheet of paper with minute print & unhelpful non-instructions. Also cd player does not work.

    Didn't work.

    Ordered the Sharp CD player online. Arrived in two days, but when I set it up it would not turn on at all. Kudos to Best Buy for letting me return it to their local store for an instant refund.
