I purchased the 50" sharp on black Friday: it is a great TV, you just have to make sure that your cable provider can adjust to the resolution which I think most of them do depending on your cable package.

This tv has an excellent picture, is easy to hook up, and set up. It took me longer to get it out of the box than to get it running.

Needed a TV fpr the basement recreation room and this is perfect as it can be seen from several angles. We did not want a delux TV such as a smart TV, so this was perfect as it was not very expensive.

The first time we watch this tv its seems like poor quality. The screen changes so bad while your watching but eventually it will be good . In the next day the screen gets better and until now I don't have problem anymore .

Good while it lasted. Rather disappointed that it didn't last long enough. Exactly 51 months (4 years and 3 months) from the day I purchased it, the screen suddenly turned black. No forewarning because everything was fine until the night before. Audio is still fine so I currently use it like the radio until I get a new TV. I checked the life of a TV and generally, it should last 5 to 7 years so this was really on the early side!

This replaced a Sony TV that I paid 3 times as much for, and only lasted 5 years....Never buy a sony again.

Great TV. Clear and tv control easy to use. My Mom is very happy with her gift.

television is great. Not as modern and visually high tech as I was lead to believe. The price I was given for the size is okay. Can't complain. Good television though. I'm satisfied.

Slow refresh rate. Not enough inputs. set up not explained well and not intuitive. Need to have the computer website nearby to set it up

TV has great picture, ca.e at a good price and the salasman was very helpful but the sound Is very poor. I have tried every sound setting.

The picture on this TV is great, especially for the price. Base feet are very stable and feel solid, unlike some single pedestal models I've seen that wobble if you touch them. Easy set up menus and very good sound. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 is the location of the HDMI ports. Would have liked them on the bottom of the back, not the side. Otherwise I would recommend this to a friend as a great budget conscious TV.

The price seemed great for a 50" TV. It had to fit within a cabinet and your measurement was right on. It just fit. The sales woman at the store was very friendly and helpful! Since it was not available near me, it was shipped free to me w/special rate. I thought it had a really good picture,but my neighbor set it up, and, as a "techie", said it had a very good picture. He was impressed with the price and quality. I think it was definitely a Best Buy for me.

The tv picture quality is good for my gaming and movies. Sounds great with my sound-bar.

I bought this Sharp 1080p television for my in laws because their old TV gave out. All I can say is!! They love it. Nice picture.

I got this on sale right before Thanksgiving. It has served us well. The picture is not high end, but can be made quite manageable for a $300 TV with the right settings.

The only negative is it did not have Metric screws included for wall mounting and the information telling the size was on a small sticker in black and white on the back of a black background'

Love the TV. It was for my girlfriend and, even though she had a limited budget, she was able to get a HD TV which is great since she only needed it to watch Cable TV.

The flat screen was a good price for the money. They only problem I have is with the sound quality. You just have to turn it up louder but it still works fairly well.

Both sound and picture are average. However, for the price you just can't beat it. As long as you are expecting mediocre for the cheap price you will be satisfied.

I was skeptical at first, I'm an lg tv person. The one lg I bought didn't have an optical in for the sound bar. Went back and got this tv which has it and it was in the same price range. Great picture on my ps4 and everything from my chromecast. Everything is great if played in hd quality. Regular cable isn't in hd so as with any other tv, the picture isn't as clear. All around I would go back and buy another one if needed I love it!
