No, I would not recommend this to a friend 3rd sharp tv bought in three years

This one just literally died in November. There was a message on screen that said DEAD and then nothing but lines. It seems the life on a Sharp television is 2 years. My other Sharp TVs died last year. Buyer beware!!! Do not waste your money on Sharp. Their Tvs are not made like they used to be. I upgraded to the Samsung 2160 4k Television.

Can’t watch it, called sharp they said there’s only a one year warranty under product and it will cost me over $250 to get it fixed! Do not buy a sharp TV! The company has gone downhill the products have gone down hill… No way Jose!

A pretty noticible sound when I keep the TV on before sleeping. You get what you pay for. I wouldn't recommend getting this product.

Being that this was my first led tv, I anticipated that the picture quality would be greatly improved, boy was I wrong. This tv offers little in the way of "HD quality". The picture is not detailed and appears grainy. The plasma that this new tv replaced had a far better picture. Bottom line, I regret not returning it within the 15 day window. Spend a couple more dollars, you won't regret it.
