I'm replacing a Vizio 32 with this Sharp 50; there are trade-offs. Here's why I gave it only 4 stars: - Image quality is excellent. - sound quality is lousy. It has two small speakers pointing downwards. No matter how loud or how low the volume setting, the sound quality is definitely lacking. My retiring Vizio 32 had much better sound. - no ambient lighting conditions sensor, so it can be extremely too bright in the evening. My Vizio 32 adapted to the lighting conditions. - tuner seems a bit weak. My retiring Vizio 32 had no problem getting all the antenna channels all the time. This Sharp 50 doesn't get them all all the time.

I was looking for a replacement tv for my beloved Panasonic plasma, and found this 50inch Sharp. Excellent price, picture and super easy setup. Best Buy salesman was very helpful as well.

Horrible sound and not so good image. Does not look like HD. Very disappointed.

I gave this TV a shot even though I hate LED TVs. After plugging in my PS4 and turning on the Witcher 3 for a couple of hours I can honestly say that I am absolutely amazed at the quality of product for the price. The sound is a little iffy but honestly nowadays if you aren't using at least a soundbar it's kind of your own fault. I honestly plan on buying a second one of these TVs because me and my girlfriend game together and its about time to retire the 42 inch Vizio on the left. If you're looking for a good TV at a great price I would definitely recommend this Sharp.

Purchased the tv and replaced a 42inch LG. So far the tv is great. The sound could be better but that's typical with today's units. We use a sound bar. The picture is perfect for sports and movies both. I have always had either Sony or LG. I was a little bit worried when I made the purchase but I am loving the tv so far.

I was looking for a 43-50 inch tv with primary requirements of having good image quality, low motion blur, smart tv being a plus, and limiting the price to $500. I originally purchased a different tv but that tv demonstrated significant image pixelation during fast moving animation e.g. football game. I returned that tv and ultimately arrived at this sharp roku tv. This tv is used to watch movies, sports, and a ps4. I dont have a single negative thing to say about it and am very happy with the purchase.

This TV is great I had not been a fan of the oversized TV's but this great and not to mention the great price and financing...I plan to by another very soon..

I was in the market for a larger TV for the bedroom for a bit prior to this purchase. A driving factor in this purchase, admittedly, was the discounted holiday prices. However, based on reviews and comparisons to much more expensive models, I felt this Sharp HDTV would do the job, and I was NOT disappointed. The picture quality, sound, and overall look of the TV is amazing. I purchased the Rocketfish tilting TV mount along with it and it looks amazing on the wall. There are more expensive options, but this one was worth the money and more for me.

TV is good for price. expectation of picture quality is good but not great. sound quality is poor but can be managed by using any sound box. Sometimes feel the lack of picture quality when we streaming the content from airplay (apple). TV menu options are very simpler and not having much options.

Well, what can I say about my new TV. In simple words it is the best. Good picture, nice sound with 3 HDMI and 1 USB port. What else u need?

This television is a good quality at a great price.

I bought this tv on black Friday as most have. I judge the picture quality of a tv by either watching a blu-ray or seeing how my ps4 games look. I have to say, the picture quality is awesome. Keep in mind that if you're watching cable, it could be something else causing your picture to look bad.

Purchased during Black Friday and son talked me into buying!I love this television, although, the sound is not as good as I would have liked, I guess because it doesn't have auto volume. I also noticed fuzziness/pixelation in the picture (especially with black colors), and was thinking about returning it. After reading reviews, I'm wondering if it was the station I was watching as opposed to the television. Thinking of keeping!!!! Thanks for reviews and positive feedback!

This television is just perfect for a family room. Not too large, but large enough to be able to enjoy with the family. Sound quality suffers a little because the speakers are facing backwards, but other than that ... I'm impressed!

The picture is good but the sound is poor and refresh slow. Three months after purchasing the TV half of the screen went black. It had not been touched and was mounted to the wall with a Best Buy mount. I returned to the store and the manager could not find a record of my purchase, questioned my honesty and would not look at the TV. I produced my receipt and the same Best Buy manager referred me to Sharp for the warranty. I called Sharp and the customer service sent out the Geek Squad tech who said they do not warranty the screens. It was a poor TV to begin with, broke in 3 months and has no warranty.

I picked this up as a Black Friday Cyber deal and am so glad I did! Fantastic picture! Very clear! Additionally, I was able to set this TV up with my mother in under 10 minutes.

Bought this TV as a Christmas present for my dad. It's a no frills TV, which is perfect since my dad is 82 years old. Since this is a basic Sharp TV, all my dad's old Sharp remotes worked flawlessly with this TV. I like how you can customize the different inputs. This saved me a lot of phone calls from my dad when he would try to switch from cable to dvd, or Roku. I labeled all the unused remotes' "DO NOT USE" Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase..and more importantly, so is my dad.

I'm impressed. I bought this TV for my grandmother's living room as a Christmas present. The TV looks and sounds good and $300 for this TV is a fantastic deal.

This TV Rocks! Both picture and sound are high quality and fully meet the expectations I had. Colors are sharp and crisp and makes watching TV a joy again.
