Got defective one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered last week and used the Black Friday discount code. Arrived today. Set up took 20 mins. Unfortunately, I can't see all the picture! There's a 3" black line towards the middle of the tv (I've attached image - can't see the "S" or "H" in SHARP to give an idea). Spent almost 2 hours with customer service (spoke with 3 people. Kept getting disconnected) they basically said go on Best Buy return website and either return to store or a ups location. 1) I can't fit the tv in my car 2) how is this an exchange especially at the Black Friday price (no longer valid). So what now? Geek Squad on a "new" tv. So disappointed with this purchase.

DOA
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ordered this through the 2015 black friday special. Arrived on time and looked fine until I turned it on. One powered up the screen looked like it had shattered with long spider lines running all over. I took it back the next day. Best Buy was great about the return, one of the employees mentioned that this model had a lot of returns for the same reason. This looked like it might be a good TV but I'll never know. My recommendation is NOT buying it and having it shipped but if you are still interested find it at a store where you can check it out first.

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!

It keeps rebooting the Chromecast, Roku, local antenna, Xbox and AV. Switched out Roku for Firestick. Same problem. This doesnt occur on any of my other TVs with the exact same accessories. Waste of money and worthless sitting on my living room wall. I dont have help to remove it to get my money back or send in to get fixed, so I am screwed with a piece of c@*p that we can not use. All we get to see is, blank screen with blue box saying no signal press input..blah blah blah. Will not purchase Sharp again. Money down the drain and kids out of a tv to watch or play games on. Thanks Sharp. I expect a large item such as this to work. It is too large to handle and most require someone to install for them. Should not be rebooting everything and not picking up signals. Very Very HORRIBLE.

Get what you pay for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I accidently broke my 50" Hisense today. My husband came in to purchase another but they were sold out. This was on sale for the same amount as the Hisense we had, and bought it because we recognized the brand. Got it home, and the photo quality is grainy. Absolutely terrible compared to our old TV. I'm trying to convince my husband to take it back as I type.

Hissing high pitched noise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV makes a hissing noise that is very distinct and annoying. The only way to get past this noise is if you raise the volume higher than 10. I've tried everything from changing the settings, to moving everything around it (frequency interference). Even when you mute the volume the sound is still there.

Great picture. Bad sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After reading all of the great reviews on this TV, I decided to by it. It's a great deal for such a large TV. However, the sound quality is terrible. I have to put the sound at over 50 to get a decent volume. 10-50 isn't a big difference on this TV. Plus, I don't know if it's the TV, but the commercials blast on the 50, but then the show is quiet when it comes back on. It only happens on this TV. We had to get a sound bar to compensate for the bad sound quality. If I could go back, I would not buy this TV, even at this low price.

TV Cracked in Box!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never got to enjoy using this TV. Picked up the TV from the Annapolis Best Buy store on Friday night. Took it out of the box for the first time this morning 36 hours later and the TV is cracked across the upper right corner. Horrible customer service! When my husband tried to exchange it, he was told we couldn't because the store policy is that it had to be returned within a 24 hour period. Really???? My advice is to always have the sales associate take the TV out of the box IN the store so it can be inspected for cracks. I will NEVER shop at Best Buy again. We should have gone to Costco as originally planned where they completely value the customer experience.
