I did extensive research to find the best value of all of the 40"-50" smart HDTVs offered by Bestbuy. This one seemed like it would give the most bang for my buck. I am very pleased with my decision. It has great picture quality, sound, and a lot of nifty features. The Roku is built right in and the advantages to that seem endless. This HDTV outperforms many of the more expensive and more reputable brands.

Incredible, had this out of the box and was watching football twenty minutes later. To get a TV of this quality delivered free for $450, considering what I paid for my 42 inch ten years or so ago is a steal.Thank you Best Buy and UPS.

Bought this as a bedroom TV, the price was great, and we wanted a smart tv. We use it for cable, streaming from a hard drive and for netflix\amazon. Works great on all fronts. Quality is great as a bedroom TV. Easy to setup and so far has been reliable. Remote is easy to use also. The Roku functionality is great!

Picture is good. Sound is eh. I have external speakers. The menu system is easy to navigate through. I lost the USB input and had to do a factory rest to get it back. That was strange....but so far so good..Netflix runs good.Wi-Fi is working fine,

I recently bought this TV and I am very happy with this purchase. Once I set up the TV and turned it on, I was amazed at the picture quality, WOW. I do not have cable, I use an antenna. The picture quality right out the box was beautiful. The TV and remote initially froze up. I changed the battery and restarted the TV and everything has been working fine thus far. The sound quality is not bad too.

Nice smart TV, but not ideal for cable viewers

The picture quality was nice, and the Roku features were slick, easy to use, and very responsive. I would have been very happy with this TV except for one problem. We mainly use the TV for cable viewing (FiOS in our case), plugged in to the HDMI input. We programmed the cable remote so that it could control the TV, so we could just use a single remote when watching cable. However, when you turn on the TV, it starts you out in the Roku menu, which you can only control with the TV remote. This means that in order to turn on the TV and watch cable, you need both the TV remote and the cable remote; there is no way to pick the cable HDMI input without the TV remote. I called Sharp tech support, and they confirmed this; if you want to watch something on an HDMI input, you will always need 2 remotes. This may seem like a small thing, but with young children in the house, it's hard to keep both remotes together all the time. It's a minor annoyance, but an annoyance we'll experience every single time we turn the TV on. For this reason, we're returning the TV.

I purchased this TV because my 10 year old plasma TV finally died and I'm so glad I did. It has a great picture, great sound and is very reasonable. It was also simple to set up.

Bought the tv 2 days ago and was very disappointed with the picture quality when not in hd. My tube tv had better quality. Also, the picture size was only about half the screen without hd. Guess I will have to contact at&t and get hd. Also, when the tv powers up, you have to use the roku remote just to select the cable option. My att remote will not do this. So now I have 2 remotes to keep track of. Watching netflix was great. The picture is great and full size. The speakers leave a lot to be desired.

Needed a living room TV and this was the perfect one. The price point was great (bought on sale) and the added built-in-Roku is awesome. I has been using my PS3 to run all my video apps and the Roku works a lot better. The picture and sound both are great, especially for the price point. If you want a 50" I would definitely recommend getting this one unless you really need a 4K TV for some reason.

Bought a few weeks ago, while there are better pictures out there this has a good picture. Easy setup...cutting my satellite tonight. Using roof antenna for networks and local t.v. ...will broadcast NFL sunday ticket rather then paying DTV....no more over paying for tv. Wish remote had a number pad.

We bought this TV at BB 2 months ago and it is absolutely spectacular! The picture is outstanding but it needs to be dialed in; Backlight 62, Brightness 40, Contrast 50, Sharpness 56. Of course these settings are always a matter of personal preference, but the factory presets are way over the top with the backlight, brightness and contrast. Ok, here are my gripes: The audio is fine however there is no way to adjust the treble or bass, we are stuck with factory presets. The simple Roku remote is fine but the preset buttons should be removed, already one of the buttons is obsolete (Rdio). Roku must understand that a TV is not disposable. Like most people we expect our TV to last at least 10 or more years - I wonder how many more buttons will be obsolete by then? TV integration with Roku is a match made in heaven, it's like what Android did for cell phones. Roku has a great opportunity here to be the universal platform for smart tv's but it still needs some work, it somewhat feels like it's still an add-on device.
