Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed an inexpensive TV for a bedroom, and took a chance on the Sharp Roku. Very surprised with the result. Easy to assemble and setup. The TV is backlit, and is very bright. Colors out of the box were almost spot on. I preferred the NORMAL setting rather than the default of LOW POWER, and WARM rather then COOL. Very good picture, and I am very picky. Blacks are deep and uniform. All white screen is very uniform as well, with a little fall off in the corners, but not noticeable during standard viewing, and very good contrast. Is the picture as good as my 60" Samsung 7150? No, but it is pretty darn good, considering it was about $1000 less expensive. But for the expense of the Samsung, its smart features are very buggy, while the Sharp's Roku features so far have been very solid. I would be happy with this TV even as my main set. All that is remains is to see how many years it will last.....

Minor issue was lack of legacy connections for older peripheral equipment - had to buy adapter cables to convert to HDMI connectors.

Restart Issue

Today it began restarting every couple of minutes and the WiFi connection kept going in and out. We decided to return the TV since this seems to be a problem that others have had.

Best Buy's Geek Squad insisted it was an impact damage despite zero impact evidence. They insisted that if the screen has lines it must be because of an impact. The repairman also told me that these Sharp LED tv's are very fragile.

Can't hook up external speakers?

How can this be hooked up to a home theater sound system? If someone can tell me what I am missing then I will upgrade this to five stars. Thanks.

roku not clear

I also have a 4K 55inch Sony which Streams Great. Not worth buying this TV if you want to stream with the built in ROKU
