One of the best value TVs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For the .~$350 I paid for this TV, I should not be complaining at all, but there is small catch - Roku system is slower than I thought it would be, it takes some time to load apps and/or switch them. Other than that no problems.

It seems to be a good combination, roku in a 50" sharp tv for 350?! Too good to be true. After 3 weeks the tv started to reset it self maybe once every 5 days, but now I'm lucky if i can get it to work for 30 minutes straight. It keeps droopi g the wi fi connection. Now I'm waiting for the geek quad to come and fix it or replace it.

Do not buy a Sharp tv

We had it for 14 months when the panel went bad causing a red line down the center of screen. We were told by Sharp that since we were four months out of warranty that all they could do was sell us a refer bushed one for an additional $400. Now we are $2900.00 into this tv. The referbished arrived and the delivery guys plugged it in but it was defective as well. The tv techs and delivery personnel all said Sharp is one of the worst on the market. Sharp will only send out another refurbished or leave me with a 70" paperweight. You have been forewarned people.

Only had for 24 hours

I received it in the afternoon and I enjoyed watching it and setting things up on my new tv. But the very next morning when I tried watching tv, it gave me all kinds of problems; it kept disconnecting from my internet randomly, it would restart on it's own randomly and sometimes the screen would freeze on me. I tried reseting it but it would freeze on me in the middle of the process. I had to return it. And the picture quality wasn't as sharp as I had expected.

tv is no good beware

Best buy exchange policy sucks 15 day I can get better policy from a dollar store. I will never buy another thing from best buy or shape corp. Buyer beware stay away from both I will tell everyone both suck.

Great TV for the Price

DONT BUY

I'd have to completely reset up the entire tv to SOMETIMES get the internet to connect back to it. Extremely frustrating to buy a tv that doesn't do what its suppose to do.

It worked and looked perfect until May 1. The tv turns off by its self . When I read reviews on this site they were all great. For the truth go to Amazon where they talk constantly about this problem . I hope bestbuy helps me with this because I can't afford to buy a new tv .

I get "excellent" connection to wifi but can't stream certain channels (ESPN or Amazon video) through Roku built in. However, when I plug in my Amazon fire stick, I can stream ESPN live tv and Amazon video fine. We did a wifi speed test and we get download speeds of 29.78 and upload of 12.21.
