Even though this type of TV will be obsolete very soon, it's a great TV for the price. Great picture, love the built in Roku. Of course with any flat screen, sound quality suffers so look into a sound bar also.

The picture quality and functionality of this TV are fine but it didn't last more than 2 years before the panel died. Thank God we had a Geek Squad warranty on it that replaced it free of charge.

I bought this tv when I moved out of my dads house so that I would have a television in my living room. I bought this tv because of the integrated roku capability. Although sometimes it seems that it lags a little more than my actual roku it's still an amazing tv. I'm giving four stars because of the occasional lag.

Good tv for the purchase price, clear picture and Roku benefits work with our Netflix and amazon prime accounts. But-all the sound goes out the back, we need a sound bar to project quiet talk out the front no matter what sound mode we choose.

For the price and size of the television this sharp 50" was a great buy. I'm currently in the market to replace this television due to no visible picture.

The Tv seemed great in the beginning but after a while, it started acting up. It randomly shuts down, goes out of your current program unexpectedly. I actually need to set up an appointment with the geek squad.

This tv is great and I love the built-in Roku. I can watch all my app shows directly on the tv with amazing quality. I purchased it on Sale which makes it even better. I would highly recommend this tv.

I was worried about Roku being built in to the tv interface, but so far it has worked well. You can also link to your iPad or other digital device to 'cast' or control apps (like youtube). The remote seems a little inexpensive for a tv remote since it's just like a standard plastic roku remote.

I so enjoy this television. I have cable and it works beautifully. But, I also have Amazon Prime and can stream movies. If you have another streaming service it would work wonderfully. I highly recommend this tv to anyone who is looking to replace their old tv or move up to streaming service.

This 50" TV is a replacement for one I purchased 18 months ago. Apparently the part needed to repair the older one is no longer manufactured so a replacement was provided. Thank goodness for the extended warranty, although getting management to get off their rear and take care of the issue was taxing.

I ordered this tv on line, was left at my door in the rain with not even a ring of the doorbell, the next morning I opened the box took out the tv and the screen was completely cracked with no damage to the box. I spent an hour getting hung up on with 1-888-bestbuy, the recording says hours are 7am to 11pm and no one answered until after 8am, then they tell me they don't start until 8 and the recording is wrong.. then they tell me they can send ups back to pick it up in 8 days and only then will they send another one. The whole reason I bought on line was because the tv is 50" and I'm over 60 and can't pick up by myself at the store, the customer service at Best Buy leaves a lot to be desired !!!! I now have to pay someone with a car big enough to return it to the store and pick up another one, so much for free shipping

This is a Great TV, the only disappointment is that there is no key pad to go to different stations directly, you start at the last channel and with an arrow go up or down one channel at a time, so to start at Channel 7.1 and go to channel 34.2 there are a lot of stations to go through.

Does this TV have the best picture? No. Is the picture quality compared to the price worth it? Yes! This is also my first Roku product and I really like its features. We have comcast/xfinity. I did not get an extra converter box for this tv. For many of the apps, I can just log in with my comcast account and watch everything i need without additional cost.

I purchased a different tv originally (Westinghouse) and ended up exchanging it for this one. This is a great television! It feels solid, well made. Connection ports are strong, not flimsy or cheap. The tv nearly sets itself up completely. Very easy to follow along with and complete quickly. Great picture as well! I have had issues with my other television in being able to hear it well-I generally have the captions on or I miss a lot of what is going on with a show. This television though has great sound, speakers are better positioned and where with my other tv I might have to turn the sound up past 40, this tv hardly ever has to be turned past 20. So glad I came back for this tv!

I was hesitant to buy something other than one of the "major" brand sets, but decided to take a shot and am glad I did. Really good picture quality, and the built-in Roku is perfect for my needs.

It's our main TV. The colors are great but I'm kind of blind to what other people see in really good color. The remote is simple (plus) and Roku app is better than anything I've used on a TV before. And it's 50 inches. The sound is decent. So, hardware wise, a great value and the app is really good.

This is a really nice TV has good pixelation and clarity. The set up wasn’t too bad to figure out had my YouTube set up di early from my iPhone and can change channels like that. The remote of searching letter by letter a little annoying tho but you get used to it. Overall awesome tv.

Cons: the format every time you turn off the tv you have to select the input, and when watching cable the alerts can be annoying. Pros: good quality amazing selections of apps
