Nice TV only lasted a year and a half

The picture quality was good. Sound, like most flatscreen tvs left something to be desired. We added a soundbar that connected to the digital sound output. The TV only lasted a year and a half. The lower 1/3 of the screen now is ghosting with the top 1/3 of the screen and there is at least one line on the screen that is completely dead. We were watching the office on Netflix one evening and suddenly the lower third went funky and that was it. Tv is ready for the trash heap. If you buy this TV start saving money for the next one because you’ll be ready to go shopping within two years based on our experience.
