hard to see the 4K UHD in many shows, but the TV is user friendly and has a nice picture

FIRST OFF! YES this TV has HDR! I contacted Sharp and gave them my model number and they looked it up and told me that this model does have HDR. It even says on the box that is has HDR. In the store Best Buy couldnt figure out if it had HDR or not and settled to tell me that "No Roku TV has HDR, it's like a software limitation." I knew that was a lie because if you go to Rokus website they list HDR TVs. ANYWAYS I wont bore you with details BUT yes this TV does have HDR... Picture and sound This TV replaced a Philips 47PFL7403D/27 47-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV that was 6 years old! So yes i think this has an amazing picture and color. With the HDR the color are very sharp and vivid and dont run together unless they are suppose to. there is also a lot of basic video options as well as advanced video options. The audio options are a bit more limited but still has more options then i have ever had on a TV. Roku TV platform We had a Roku Stick (1st gen) and loved the Roku platform but hated the stick! It was slow and laggy which got better after some updates but never really shined so we sold it. Our first Roku TV was a Sharp - 32" Class (31.5" Diag.) - LED - 1080p (They dont make them anymore). its fast, easy and basic but if you dig into the options there is actually quiet a bit you can do and have access to (ex: advanced video options, audio options, auto launch into an app on start, smartphone app w/remote, game mode, etc). Roku TV has us for life..... or until they start making dumb decisions. We will be purchasing another Roku TV this year!
