I was overly satisfied with the picture quality of this television. It was delivered to my home in flawless condition, and I couldn't have been more happy. Programming and adjusting it was simple, and adding other devices was easy as well. Now I wish I had bought a larger one. LOL!

I finally needed to get rid of my 17 year old 53" Sony rear projection TV, which is still working perfectly after all these years! I needed more space in my living room, as well as wanting to catch up with modern picture technology. I researched many 4K HDTV's, and finally settled on this 50" Sharp Roku 4K HDTV, primarly because it was on sale, and it had all the features and technology I wanted. The picture is stunning, and the built in speakers very good. I hooked up an old Pioneer SX series receiver and a pair of classic Polk Audio Monitor 10 to the TV using an optical cable (with analog converter for stereo AUX input), and the sound is 'to die for'. My only gripe, and it is a small one, is WHY isn't a web browser included with the Roku page?

I waited all year long for Black Friday to purchase a Smart TV as, the one I currently have is a Good TV just, not a Smart One. After researching TV/w Roku I settled for this one. I like the color, the ability to access various apps etc...However, I am very disappointed with the sound (volume) as it's in my bedroom and I still have to turn the sound way up just to hear. My second disappointment is with the setting up of the TV to simple function. There should have been A WARNING, that in order for this TV to FUNCTION you, have to Register your Roku and there is an additional charge for that Registration. The amount is going to be $199.00 for 3 years. Just to clarify, I did see a pop up on the TV Stating, Roku, does not charge to activate or to assist our customers. However, when I read this statement to the rep assisting me, I was informed that is correct. However, in order to activate your Roku, it must be Registered. I was not in a position to pay $199.00 to register my Roku, after, I had just purchased my TV for 379.00. Had I known that in advance, I would have purchased a Roku separately from a TV. So, after going back and forth with the rep, he informed me I would be contacted on Friday to Register my Roku...Still an inconvenience. Had there been given a forewarning of, additional charges, then I would have been better prepared. In addition, i did go to Sharp's website for assistance, after typing in what was going on, they asked for $5.00 for assistance from a professional. I would have given a 4-star rating, however, there were too many unnecessary inconveniences. As well as the Volume issue on the TV.

i have a 42 inch sharp led 1080p tv its great in the dining room which is 26x24 foot but since i bought a 60 inch sharp 4k tv, i was spoiled with the impressive picture only to watch it in the living room. i spend most of my time in the dining kitchen room and decided i needed a larger tv so i purchased this 50 inch sharp tv and fits much better although i could have gotten a much bigger 4k tv. so far its working perfectly. the mini remote is a challenge. i had to go online to understand the functions of this remote. i went one step further and used my old sharp tv remote. 75% of the functions of the 4k tv is usable on the old sharp tv remote. its 3x the size of this new remote which i am used to. so i am very satisfied with this 50 inch 4k tv

My boyfriend and I got a great deal on this TV. It was our first smart TV, so getting everything set up was a learning experience, but it didn't take long! The picture is AWESOME! My only complaint about this TV is that after only two days of using it, the remote went crazy! It was like it had a mind of its own. Pressing just one button(didn't matter which one) would make the TV menu scroll repeatedly and nothing would stop it--not even the power button--until you pulled the batteries out. Roku was no help because the remote was not made by them, it was made specifically by Sharp. Sharp customer service was extremely unhelpful when my boyfriend tried calling the other day. I emailed them with an extremely length complaint. I'm giving them two days to respond with a positive solution or this TV is going back to Best Buy.
