This tv is worthless with the remote it comes with unless you are connected to WiFi. On top of that the remote doesn't act as a true "TV" remote. No channel options. No numbers. No device input option. Very unsatisfied. I wouldn't recommend this as a TV unless you know you're only using it for streaming and will never lose WiFi connection. Also, God forbid the remote goes bad. Then you're just out of luck. Can't find any remote that will pair with this TV. Regret purchase.

I got this great tv 2018 and it’s now 2024 and it still works it has lasted me this long and it still works after all this time

Bought 2 sharp roku tvs approx one yr ago. Great pictures. Loved them Then approx 2, 3 months ago, when changing segments of streaming programs, they (both TVS sameproblem altho in different rooms) would take forever loading. In mid segment, go into loading and sit there. I checked with internet provider, no fix. Called Geek Squad, they want SN. the TV is attached to the wall and too heavy for me to take down. Now I need to wait for someone to move the TV for me. Bummer. I can watch only one hour then turn off.

This tv meets expectations. The picture is great, but the Roku built-in is terrible. It is really laggy and sometimes freezes up and shuts itself off. Maybe a streaming stick added to the TV would be better?

Purchased this for my first apartment and it works quite well. The picture quality is crystal clear. Love the simplistic remote, can easily guide around with it. My only issue is that the sound varies from app to app. Netflix is good but if I buy a movie off Amazon then play it, the sound isn't as loud as the Netflix app. Overall though a great TV especially for the price.

We love this TV and owned the prior 1080p iteration of it. The improvements of this TV are several: improved Roku speed, 4K, quasi-HDR functionality and a shallow base that allows us to place the TV atop our fireplace mantle (we cannot hang TVs on our walls as they are plaster & lath).

Do you know what 8K OLED with HDR10 means, and how to tell if a display has it just by looking at the picture? If you do, you won't be impressed by this TV. For everyone else, I think you'll love this TV. Clear picture, simple interface, and great price. You just can't get better at this price point.

I purchased this TV on March 1st and on March 16th the TV went out. Like completely out. We were watching a show and it cut out, went completely black and has not turned back on at all. I really loved this TV up until then. The picture was good, the sound was good. It is the first smart tv I have owned/bought and it was very easy to set up and work. I called Best Buy and the only solution they had was to have someone from the Geek Squad come look at it. They couldn't schedule someone to come for another week. Its very frustrating. Seeing as how it only lasted 16 days, I feel like they should have just brought me a new tv. Not to mention now I'm wasting a week of the free month of Sling I got when purchasing.

Love the price of what you pay for quality. Favorite choice

We got this TV on black friday, last year. This has been an amazing TV. We do not have cable, so we use Netflix and Hulu. The only problem is that the volume can be a little funky sometimes. I am hoping that Best Buy will have the same deal this year so that I can get another one!

So technically, this is a Smart TV, It also isnt. What qualifies it to be a smart TV is the fact that it does have Chromecast. Other than that"app" it doesnt have anymore. The USB's are also only image file compatible. Most if not all Smart TV's have the ability of video playback from usb flash drives. This one does not, it only detects images (jpeg, png, ect, ect.) Its a fine 4k tv, and its decent for the price tag is has, but if youre looking for a good 4k tv, that upscales, with real Smart tv features, I suggest looking somewhere else. This is the kind of TV that ends up in the guess room, its just decent enough. Again, for the price it currently has ($300) its not a bad entry level 4k 55' TV.

It has (hdr )when u get the tv home. box says hdr quality an my (PS4 pro asked if I wanna use hdr )so 4 the price very good deal even sharps web site says it has it idk y it's not listed on here

I bought the tv for an amazing price. Couldnt pass up the deal and im glad i didnt. Picture is crytal clear with great sound. Roku is built in and lots of great apps to choose from.

Ive had this tv for about 5 years now and it has served me well. It brought me no issues whatsoever and looks amazing to this day. I would recommend this television to anyone who is interested in purchasing a 4k tv for gaming or to watch your favorite broadcast.

PURCHASED THIS BACK IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR ITS NOW TWO MONTH S AFTER I PURCHASED THIS TV AND I HAVE NOT HAD A SINGLE ISSUE WITH IT ITS MOUNTED ON MY WALL AND WORKS PERFECT. INSTEAD OF PAYING FOR CABLE IM GETTING ALL THE MOVIES I WANT ON ROKU CHANNEL AND TUBI TV AND PLUTO TV AND TUFF TV FOR NOTHING.WHY BOTHER PAYING CABLE JUST USE THE DIGITAL TV ANTENNA AND GET YOUR LOCAL TV STATIONS FREE STOP CABLE THE CABLE COMPANY AND JUST GET INTERNET. AND USE A WIFI

I purchased this tv 2/2018 and the screen began blacking out 4/2019. Conveniently just a little after their warranty. I’ve called customer service and they walked me through two possible solutions, though I suspect that they already knew their product would no longer work. Not to help another brand over the other, but I purchased a LG tv the same month that gets WAY more usage and it is still running strong. You know, the way a tv should be fine even after the first year of purchase. I read a few reviews warning of this problem when I first considered purchasing, and completely regret hoping that wouldn’t be me. Absolute waste of money.
