Barely lasted 3 years
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a Thanksgiving Day doorbuster for $180. Really, not a bad deal, but it had a dead pixel nearly right in the middle of the screen. Best Buy promptly replaced it, however. The big problem is that the TV has basically become useless less than 3 years later. I believe this to be a result of the 9.3 Roku update. A plethora of other users have mentioned similar problems. Especially when trying to take advantage of the HDR capabilities of this TV, it will just shut off. You turn it back on, and within a few minutes (if that), it against shuts itself off. Roku support was no help-they basically just blame Sharp (other Roku SmartTV owners report similar responses). As this is out of warranty, this is of no help. I have to recommend against RokuTV due to this. My TV has basically been rendered useless because of bad software. This is all unfortunate, as the TV was very good quality for the price I paid. I probably wouldn't have purchased another TV for years to come, but this forces my hand. Going with a more reliable brand and platform this time. Will not be purchasing a RokuTV again.
