I bought this for my daughter. She likes the Netflix app. Great price for a 55 inch tv. Good picture and sound. Easy set up. Love it!

This is an excellent TV especially for the price. The picture is clear and the colors are vivid. It is also excellent for gaming.

I would have easily given a 5 star on this smart tv it has an awesome picture has very good sound something hard to find any more. The Internet connection is fast and movies load fast no buffering. My only concern was Amazon prime is not on this sharp model. Went so far as to go back to Best Buy to find out-whether other Sharp models had Amazon Prime and none do. Sharp needs to consider adding this to their smart TV's other than this problem it is a great TV

55" HDTV for use in great room. Good picture/color and sound. Very easy Netflix set up.

i was looking for a secondary television for the master bedroom and settled on this one because the price was great. It's easy to set up but if you are using it with a UHF receiver it gets a little grainy. But the picture is perfect if you connect it directly to the box or watch HD movies.

We reviewed several TV'S. We wanted a larger TV for our extra family room. The price and features were more than we anticipated. This is our third Sharp TV and each one has performed great!

Not enough trouble to return the it, but I wouldn't buy another. It's pretty quirky. For instance: Once the TV acquires the wifi signal, it consistently takes 2-3 minutes before the picture settles into focus. You can't start the 'smart' function, you have to wait to acquire a local signal and then *change* to the 'smart' function. Yes, I read the manual and yes I've followed the directions, but no amount of setting the 1/2/3 'favorite' buttons will make them stick. Every time the TV is turned off, they default back to factory settings. That's annoying. And frequently, we lose sound. The volume control appears to work, the slider is shown on-screen, but the only way to get the sound back is to turn the set off and start over.... at the local channel.... and then select 'smart'.... and then navigate all over again to the movie app we were just using... So. All in all, the TV works fine and the picture is beautiful. But I would not recommend the TV to someone I actually like.

I bought this model based on price and as I've had previous good experiences with Sharp TV's. I use it only as a monitor in conjunction with an AVR, satellite TV and a ROKU, I do not know how the built-in audio works. It does have Apps, but be aware you cannot download additional Apps, so it's only Netflix and a few others.. The ATSC tuner works fine for over-the-air local channels. Out of the box the picture is too "hot". After simple consumer level calibration with a Blu-Ray disc system, the picture quality is great. Of course it is not UHD 4K or 3D enabled, but who cares. Highly recommended if a basic 1080p big screen is all that is needed. A lot for the money.

Very satisfied with the picture on this set, crisp, bright, quick startup. However, the speakers are pretty tinny and unworthy of a set of this quality. A second minor beef I have is that Sharp does not include Amazon Instant video in its suite of apps, so have to revert to the bluray to use the service.

We specifically purchased this television because it was the largest unit we could find for under $500. It is somewhat simple compared to other televisions available on the market today, but it does exactly what we need it to do (which is displaying PowerPoint presentations, YouTube videos, and other educational-related items). For the money, this was a great deal.

Our new 55" Sharp Aquos TV is fabulous. The picture is sharp & clear. The sound can be heard throughout the house. The staff were very helpful at Best Buy in showing us all the available TV's in stock.

Purchased the sharp after having a bad experience with insignia. Great picture as well as color. Definitely a great choice for a smart tv! 2 months strong and i have no regrets with this purchase

This TV has an excellent picture and was very easy to assemble and set up. I was happy to see that it had an analog audio output; my surround sound system does not support digital optical audio.
